Small Group Of Roma Fans Protest Outside Trigoria - Report

Earlier this week, around 200 Lazio fans staged a violent protest outside the club's training ground at Formello after their side's disastrous start to the Serie A season.

According to reports, Roma fans have now followed suit, albeit more peacefully and on a much smaller scale.

Italian news agency ANSA records that around a dozen fans gathered outside Trigoria, the Giallorossi's training complex, after the team suffered their third straight league defeat to Udinese.

The fans held banners that simply read 'disgrace', while almost the entire team was subject to their chants. Only Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi were exempt from their criticisms, before the fans were removed from the area by police.

Roma are set to go on a retreat after this weekend's match with Bologna in order that the squad can regroup, but the fans are becoming ever more restless with the club's awful start to the season. The Giallorossi sit in 14th place, just one point above Lazio.
