Inter

--------

Fiorentina
Juventus

-------
Sampdoria, Roma, Genoa and Milan.

This is so frustrating, I really thought we had something going on but Inter is too strong. Signing Milito, Etoo, Sneijder and Lucio makes stuff harder for us.

Yea, the fact that both us and Inter got the late signings at the very end of this summer that we had been chasing really pisses me off when I think that theirs was Sneijder and ours was Grosso

It's not that Inter are too strong but rather Juve is just too poor.
Well, Inter were obviously better than us last season and this season we got some new players but to be honest, it's nowhere enough. Who do you think made the better mercato? Etoo, Milito, Motta, Sneijder and Lucio + all the money they have left over from the Zlatan transfer vs Diego, Melo, Grosso and Cannavaro.

well, we had a pretty good mercato, but we didn't take care of the biggest problem, our defence. We spent big money on top quality midfielders, which is great, but I'm not sure that spending the bulk of our money on 2 top class midfielders was better than getting a good RB, plus a top midfielder, etc.

and Inter were definitely stronger last year, and they had an incredible mercato. Whoever is responsible for it should get a fucking medal, they managed to get some serious quality for a very reasonable outlay. didn't over pay for anyone, IIRC. Not to say that they wouldn't benefit from another good AM or a creative midfielder, but they're extremely strong. fuckers...

Its called having a much higher budget, and getting the deal of the century in selling Ibrahimovic.

That being said, this year might be the first year in a while that Inter had struck gold on all of their transfers.

That Sneijder signing made me sick, because I knew that was all they needed

definitely true, but we could have done better. Then again, they really pulled everything off perfectly, and the ibra deal was insane. dunno what barca were smoking on that one

and I feel the same way about Sneijder, I was hoping to god it wouldn't happen, but screw it.

Inter are good and I hate to admit it, but they're only good because, they have a world class coach, that's the only reason. Inter have always spent millions on players and world class ones too, but no success, why? Because there coaching sucked and ours were great, but now the tides have turn.

But now they have a coach who has a clear purpose and direction, and not just one that was getting name players just for the sake of it.

All of Mourinho's transfers this year seem to fit in just fine.

Now, will they be a favorite for the CL?? I'm not so sure. Anytime that you have that much turnover in your starting 11, its going to take some time to gel. But as far as Serie A is concerned, there is no reason why they shouldn't start pulling away from the rest of the pack, considering how watered down the league is, unfortunately

Hindisght being 20/20, I wonder if Juve would have gone for Melo if Sissoko was healthy from the beginning.

i'm not saying that it was a bad move, on the contrary.

However, that 25 million could have gone to shoring up the fullback positions.
