I didn't mean any of what you said but lately you've been mentioning a lot how Ranieri is using the wrong players. Personally, I don't care at all about what players he fields until we meet them in a match. That's about it.
Same old Ranieri. :)

Boy, could Livorno use Donovan right now.

I'm just mad about Lucarelli, Lucarelli's just mad about me.

we need to buy more players and loan them out to other Serie A teams to stop Inter ?!

have you seen the women in Livorno?

They all look like Red's avatar, complete with identical political beliefs
With facial hair like amber waves of grain.

Nope.

It is Willie Miller (Aberdeen's greatest ever captain and current Sporting Director) in Che style. :D
Sure that's not Borat Guevara?

Guidolin apologises to Lazio
Thursday 24 September, 2009
Francesco Guidolin has apologised to Lazio after his Parma side scored while one of their players was down injured.

Roberto Baronio was clearly hurt as Parma started a move that ultimately carried them into the lead.

The incident had a great impact on the game as the Gialloblu eventually ran out 2-1 winners.

“I saw the man on the ground and I shouted at my players to kick the ball out of bounds, but they didn't hear me,” Guidolin explained.

“I hadn't wanted to score like that. [Damiano] Zenoni didn't realise and we went ahead. I espoused fair play many years ago, but I have faith in my lads and I clarified with them that it shouldn't happen anymore.

“I wouldn't even have come out for the second half had I thought bad of them,” Guidolin added.

Looking on the bright side, newly promoted Parma are now fourth in Serie A after the opening five games.

“We still have to grow. We should have closed the game down earlier, but we are newly promoted. We're satisfied because we dominated the game,” Guidolin said.

The evening was a particular success because Guidolin managed to rest a number of players ahead of this weekend's fixtures.

“Who knows what you would have said if we had lost. I have a big group of players, composed of youngsters and veterans. I have to give them confidence, and I did just that this evening.

“I gave Panucci, Paloschi and Biabiany a rest, but what counts is the great desire we have to do well. We have the spirit of a newly promoted side, but also the desire of one that wants to have a season without suffering,” Guidolin concluded.

Parma are back in action on Sunday when they host Cagliari who beat Bari 1-0 last night.

------------------------

I am a big fan of Guidolin for years, he takes a shitty team like Parma and look what he is doing already:

Lazio - Parma 1-2
Parma - Palermo 1-0
Inter - Parma 2-0
Parma - Catania 2-1
Udinese - Parma 2-2

AMAZING!!! I can't understand why a manager like Guidolin never takes a proper job at big clubs, I hope I see him someday with Juve!

Della Valle resigns from Fiorentina
Thursday 24 September, 2009
Andrea Della Valle has resigned from his position as President of Fiorentina with immediate effect after weeks of speculation.

The 48-year-old revealed his decision through a conference call to the board this morning and will be temporarily replaced by Mario Cognini.

Della Valle is said to have been very upset by protests held by the club's fans criticising his conduct in the transfer market.

Fiorentina sold Felipe Melo to Juventus this summer and didn't reinforce as expected, sparking outrage.

However, the reality is Della Valle needs to spend more time reorganising Tod's, the family business, which produces shoes and other leather goods.

Earlier this week, Fiorentina Coach Cesare Prandelli allied himself to the Della Valle family, insisting that Andrea was the reason why he decided to commit to the club in the first place.

Stevan Jovetic has also tried to show his support for Della Valle by dedicating a goal to him.

It is as yet unknown what this means for Fiorentina's ownership, though it is not expected to compromise their plans for a new stadium and theme park.

Inter are actually stronger than they were last year, they have a terrifying team that is now capable of keeping the ball and moving it around smoothly, all due respect to you guys, but i believe they're winning the Scudetto this season, you can hold it against me come the end of the season.

I don't think anyone has seriously suggested Inter aren't still stronger than Juve.

The gap, however, is not as big as it has been in recent years.

It isn't a big gap at all, i expect Juve to be competitive till the end. It will be competitive, but Inter still have more depth, and Juve are yet to adapt to their new system. Also i think the Milito - Eto'o partnership will give Inter that extra edge.

Yes you are, no denying that, but the game against Bordeaux showed how vulnerable your defense can be, it also showed that your central mids still do not how to deal with teams that play on the flanks. Bordeaux's fullbacks constantly found the time and space to put in crosses at their will without much pressure from the central mids, the team still needs time to adapt to the system.

That being said, i do think Juve has enough quality to win the Scudetto, will not be surprised if they did. But i think Inter has that extra bit of quality.

Today's game against Genoa is a real test for this team. Will be interesting to see how you guys fare today.
