It seems that Ibra is heading to Barca while Eto is heading to Inter
Bad move for both sides IMO Inter don`t have too many creative players like Barca does to feed Eto (a player that defenitely needs the feeding) and Barca lose a player that free himself to many assists very fast and a great goalscorer to Ibrahimovic who is more playing with the ball than getting assists and scores
Ibra would still look good but Barca wouldn`t be the same

With the technique and power that Ibra posses + the support he will get from Barca midfield and Messi, he will destroy Spanish defenses!

Lippi wants Italians to stay

Wednesday 10 June, 2009

Marcello Lippi wants Italian players to stay in Italy rather than abroad, as it enriches Serie A and makes his job easier.

Yesterday, the 61-year-old World Cup winner said he was glad Kaka left Milan for Real Madrid because it meant one less foreigner in Serie A.

“I will not allow myself to give advice to any of our clubs when it comes to the transfer market,” Lippi said.

“But I have told the players who are here with me to try and stay in the Italian championship. Jokingly I add that this way they save La Nazionale money on flights, but in reality the more Italians I have in our championship the better.”

Italy are in South Africa preparing for the Confederations Cup. Tonight they face New Zealand in a friendly.

Pirlo, Maicon threaten to join Serie A exodus

AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo and Inter Milan defender Maicon have raised doubts about their Serie A futures following Kaka's departure for Real Madrid.

The Brazil playmaker left Milan on Monday, prompting protests from Rossoneri fans, while Inter striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is hoping to join Barcelona.

The loss of possibly the two best players in Italy would be a huge blow for the struggling league, which has slipped well behind Spain and England in terms of appeal and financial clout.

Now Pirlo, who has been linked in the media with former Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea, has expressed doubts.

"We have taken Kaka's exit badly," he told reporters with the Italy team at the Confederations Cup in South Africa. We'll see if I leave. For now, no, but looking ahead we will see."

Maicon, among Serie A's best players, is even more unhappy.

"For three years Inter have treated me with indifference, maybe because they are worried about keeping Ibrahimovic happy," the Brazilian told Wednesday's Gazzetta dello Sport. "I'm searching for joy, at Inter or another club."

Milan striker Alexandre Pato has said he is considering his future but club bosses have said there would be no more big departures with the focus shifting to a replacement for Kaka.

Chief executive Adriano Galliani has said Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko is a target and the Bosnian seems keen to move from the German champions.

"It is still not done but I hope so. The Rossoneri, along with Real Madrid, are the essence of soccer," he told reporters.

Ibra 'worth Kaka plus Ronaldo'
Wednesday 10 June, 2009
Zlatan Ibrahimovic does not have a deal with Barcelona, assured his agent, who claims “he's worth as much as Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo combined.”

There had been reports this morning in Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo that the Inter striker was set to move for £10m plus Samuel Eto'o.

“There is no deal with any club,” explained Mino Raiola on Onda Cero radio. “With no agreement, we are not free to talk to anyone.”

However, he did leave the door wide open for a transfer should negotiations progress.

“It is normal that the two Presidents will talk to each other. [Massimo] Moratti likes Leo Messi and they are discussing that too.

“In any case, the team that wants Zlatan must first of all speak to Inter and afterwards offer us a sporting and economic project to consider.”

Raiola had a very audacious statement when asked how much it would take to tempt Ibra to leave Inter.

“Ibra was born to play football and he has no preference over what club that is for. He is worth as much as Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo combined.”

Considering Kaka was signed for £60m by Real Madrid this week and Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is valued at around that figure, it would put a £120m price-tag on the Swede.

I bet Milan didn't see this one coming. They may have expected some criticism, but they're hated all over Italy for this. Even loyal Milan legends say they're disgusted. And the look on Kaka's face during the press conference was not the look of a happy man.

I can't believe Real still wanted him. Why would you pay that kind of money for a player who obviously doesn't really want to be there?
