 oops whats now gona happen, if they replace kaka with ribery, who here is laughing then?
Naah he'll cost them alot, they won't spend all that money on kaka's replacement.

I don't think that milan are as dump as some here suggest. After all they've replaced Rui costa with Kaka and sheva with pato (both Kaka and Pato turned to be better options).......

They had Kaka in the team at the same time with Rui. Kaka proved to be better and he became a starter. So far no-one in Milan proved to be better than Kaka and worth to replace him.

Sheva was sold without a replacement. Actually, they still haven't found a guy who'll consistently score +25 goals per year. Pato was brought to Milan almost 2 years after they sold Sheva and he still didn't prove that he can successfuly replace the ballon d'or winner Shevchenko.

Pato is just 19 (scored 15 goals this season), he will only get better.

It's hard to find Kaka's replacement thats for sure but i don't think any club would refuse such an offer for their player (even if he was their best player). We did that once with our best player back then zizu and a club like bayern munich are willing to sell their best player ribery if a similar offer was represented to them.

It all depends on how's milan going to spend kaka's money. But i guess we'll have to wait and see.......

We're not desperate like every other club to sell our best players. We auto finance ourselves and make money while others are in serious debt.

With the new stadium owned by Juve(only club in Italy) they'll make even more money than before.

There is a great chance that he will, for now he's not.
Apart from that 02/03 season when he was injured most of the time, Sheva was scoring 29, 34, 17,29, 26, 28 goals respectively.
Pato may one day match this but even if he does it won't happen until 2010 which means that Milan needed 4 years to find a player who scores ~30 goals a year.
The way only-juve presented it, one might think that they had a ready replacement when they sold Sheva.

Maybe in 4 or 5 years they will find a guy who will replace Kaka with equal success, but it's a fact that atm they don't have such player.

What, should we now fear that Milan might replace Kaka with just as good player and should we wish Milan not to loose their best player because the guy who'll replace him might be even better?
I think not.

Yeah, even in the first galacticos period, Perez wasn't buying everything that moves. He was just buying the best (and he bought the best in midfield, while completely ignoring the defense) and they all played. It's not like he was buying the second best to sit on the bench.

If he gets Ronaldo and Kaka, we shouldn't fear about losing Diego or Giovinco. Since they have Casillas, they won't go after Buffon either.

Maybe Chiellini, Sissoko or Amauri, but even for these players they will overpay badly.
