Given all the time he's needed to settle into Roma, right?

No, I don't think so. He's a good coach. But he's not a championship coach. He's good for a club with lower ambitions like Roma. But he's an impediment for clubs with greater aspirations.
juve's aspirations should have been consolidation in the top 3 after returning to
serie a,not the scudetto the team was just not strong enough

How sad would it be if Ranieri took Roma to the scudetto :D
Ranieri won't take Roma to the scudetto. He can only lose them the matches. The star players win the matches alone. The star players like Totti will....

Oh, wait.

 @ those who were saying that Ranieri had nothing to do with Juve's wins and it was all Nedved and Del Piero.

You might be a filthy, slutty, disgusting Romanista (Don't worry, most of my family in Italy is as well. Which is why I don't talk to them).

But, you have a point.

Too much, too soon, for a team that was fairly old to begin with three years ago, to start shooting for the sky right away.

Juventini are a very impatient bunch. It will be interesting if a full on youth movement happens next year. People are going to lose their collective minds.

Not sad at all.

It would make for a great story, and seriously, who wouldn't be rooting for the underdog in this case?

Local boy finally comes home, and has a chance to make good. Its all about redemption, baby.

I think this season changed that. Now we'll be happy even with an average coach who will guarantee the 4th place to us.
And it's all OUR fault. We wanted too much and we ended up being happy with too little. We deserved this.
thats indeed a very funny thing ... the whole time after relegation the star players like nedved and alex did say how we need to stay down to earth and be humble and the fans where the exact opposite of humble ... greedy for the quick success ... leaving us with this situation

Not just the fans, the public face of the club too. Blanc and them let themselves get carried away with big statements.

Blaming the fans for this is one thing, and I think that might be a little off base.

blaming the management for not taking the high road and preaching patience? well, you can start the finger pointing right there, if need be.

You know, Camoranesi may have been right all along when he said that it could take up to 10 years for Juve to be a CL quality squad again.

He's still a doofus, though.
