Roma is the complete opposite of us this season. They should have been mid-table, but they put it together. Ranieri has done a great job, but it is more than just him. This is a team with the right players performing at the right positions.

For all the bitching and moaning about how we need CL cash to be competitive next season, you just have to take a look at Roma who finished 6th last season.

And thanks to Roma, we still are mathematically not out of the Scudetto race this season.

Am I a Roma fanboy today? No. But they played good football today. I haven't seen us play anything like that in ages. And I'm all for less embarrassment in this league: there's too much of it going around these days.

H- Atalanta
A- Lazio
H- Sampdoria
A- Parma (Parma don't need the points)
H- Cagliari
A- Chievo (Chievo don't need the points)

Roma play 4 matches at Olimpico and the 3 matches out of Rome will be against teams that don't need points at all.
