For Inter this is a very good move. For Juve it wouldn't have been such a good move. So the only regret you guys should have is that Inter now have quality cover for their attackers, but no regrets on missing out on him imo.

Nope, Pandev himself says that Branca (Inter's Secco, I think) offered 18 million in August, 3 days before the transfer window closed. Other teams also offered 15 million or so, but Lotito kept repeating that he doesn't even want to talk unless ~25 million are offered.
Now, if 15-18 million isn't a decent offer, then you're right.
18 even 15 million euros is a pretty decent offer nodoubt. But i think Lazio will get some compensation money (chelsea-mutu scenario) at some point later. I hope they will :xfinger:

I disagree.

I mean, what you're saying is that Inter already have a great striking force and adding a quality player like Pandev, for free, is only adding very good depth, while Juve don't need depth but need top class up front.
You are right, but this is a very short term thinking.

Del Piero is 35, Trez 32, Iaquinta 30 and Amauri 29. In a year or so Del Piero might be gone. Adding Pandev for free now to replace Del Piero (not directly, of course), selling one of Iaquinta or Amauri for 10-15m eur, adding some additional 15-25m eur to the money gained from the sale of Iaquinta/Amauri in order to buy a top class attacker.... and you have most of the job done.

But now we'll need lots of money to buy a great attacker and then we'll need more money to buy another attacker (considering the age and the form of all our attackers).

No thats now what i meant actually. I should have made my point clearer, what i meant to say is that Juve doesn't need another attacker. Personnell is not the problem at Juve, rather it is a problem of motivation and finding the right tactical system.

mutu wasn't a gamble back then..he played amazing at parma, and did pretty good at chelsea too...of course he would get back in shape and pass the scandal because he needed the money, the nt, the days in which he was clear of sideline chalk

That sick dribbler that's playing for Serbia. Kinda 'old' so it's weird people hear now about him...but he has good statistics in Belgium. He looks really good, but dunno if it was smart for him to move there.

Last news concerning Jova is that he will not move to Milan. I caught an interview with him on Belgian TV a week ago and he did admit that Milan were interested, but so are a lot of other teams. He also mentioned that he's not really interested in moving to a big team because that would limit his chances of playing. And since he's already getting older, playing is his number 1 priority. He is certain to leave Belgium though.

The guy who conducted the interview later said that they talked a bit more after the interview, without the presence of any cameras, and to him it was pretty obvious that Milan was out of the question at the moment.
But there were literally dozens of interested teams: Italian (Fiorentina was mentioned), German, Spanish (a lot of Spanish teams iirc) & English.
