He does some stupid things but it's usually just off-field, some red card here and there :D. His play is pretty consistent IMO and I think he's going to be one of the best strikers. Kid is arrogant, but damn good.
I find him very predictable right now.

90% of the time, he will drift left then try to beat his man on the inside to shoot with his right foot.

With good coaching, he will become an excellent player, but he isn't even close to Milito's level right now.

They will lose ALOT, Balotelli I prolly rate more then several of you, but Milito in pure gameplay wise have been hugely important in helping out their uncreative midfield (Eto'o is a ghost in comparison), assisting, linking up, not to mention scoring all goals for them. I have genuinly been very impressed with him.

Balotelli is still very inconsistent in his age, extremely so, despite his talents, and cant really cover for Milito with how productive he has been.

Missing Milito for Inter is a huge blow.
No doubt Milito offers a lot but I think they will cover it and it will probably be 2 weeks, not one month.

Balotelli just turned 19 two months ago, he goes off sometimes but that play for his age is really impressive.

He isn't but there's only one reason - age. Predictable or not, he's pretty unstoppable up-front. He has strength, great technique and good finishing. I predict him a great future.

The title is a two horse race... between Inter and Samp.
It is to early to be saying that, Juve are only two points behind and looking at the fixtures for the next round Juve could conceivably go top again. Juve, Samp, and Inter all have difficult games with us hosting the gayola, Samp playing away to Lazio, and Inter have to play away to Genoa. Both Genoa and Lazio are extremely tough away games that are more than capable of at least getting draws.

Yeah, but four consecutive matches without a win, and five out of the last 6 save for one against a relegation battler at home, is a pretty classic "crisis" situation for any club of this caliber.

Ranieri got fired for seven of those in a row.

I think once again a majority of the members here have unrealistic expectations and are way to quick to jump into the "were doomed" mentality after a bad run of games. The whole team may have played a bad match but it does NOT mean they are a bad team. Meelan are a team in crisis who should be firing their coach, Juve are just in poor form and should not make any hasty decisions over Ferrara. In the past few seasons we have signed mainly squad players and continued to rely mainly on the old guard for the structure of our team as Buffon, Leggro, Chiellini, DP, Trez, Camo, and Neddy were the heart and soul of side. For the first time since Calciopoli we have signed 4 new starters whom our team's success relies heavily on (not just squad players), add to that a new coach, a new tactical system, and the expectations to finally once again win trophies. Give Ferrara and players some time to settle in before declaring our team is crap. If you want to win every game go support Barca or Manure. I can't stand all of this overly pessimistic bullshit

The team will do far better than this again this season, and relatively soon. But you cannot deny the fact that the team was beaten badly today and deserved worse. And this on the heels of drawing against Bologna at home.

I saw post-match comments where Chiellini said there was nothing to take away from this match and that they should put it all behind them as soon as possible. I disagree. I didn't see the right kind of effort out there. Sloppy mistakes that cost us goals, and missed goal chances that lead to shrugged shoulders. We clearly wore the physique of losers today.

its a long season man, don't forget that its only october
I would say we are still in the game as I am not that impressed by Inter.
Also there are quite few good teams in league now.

...in his 2nd season.

CR would never loose game in a way we lost it last night.

I was against Ciro, we should get someone better than Ranieri, but I really hope he can put 2 and 2 together.

This season we have Cana, Groso, Melo, Diego, that is 40% of the team, and all those players are great improvement if we compare team of the last year.
Also with new coach players should be more motivate.
I saw Bayern game, and we were horrible 1st half. But 2nd we were more composed so i thought it was one off.

Ciro must do better, i was not for him to learn lessons with us, but, we will bounce back, we must and soon.

Actually, if nothing changes the titles will be Inter's to lose exactly like last year. Fiorentina and Sampdoria will fight for the second place and we will be with Lazio and Roma fighting for the fourth spot.

Desperate boy!

I think that losing this game was a good thing, so Ferrara can wake up and learn from his recent mistakes, when he didn't put Alex while he was available, such as games vs Roma and Bayern, I think one more game but I just don't remember. ... We do have chances, I expect him to try use Gio as SS until Alex is back...
The only thing I'm worried about is Midfield battle, we losing it to easily, vs Bayern, vs Bologna, Vs Palermo, vs Lazzio and so on, If we see statistics (I don't have those) but I doubt that we ever had more than 50 % possession of the ball. Resting Marchisio for nothing, cos we didn't have another game to play after this knowing that there is international break, just brings a consiparcy that it was a request from Lippi, maybe he couln't play for 90 minutes but it would have been great if he had played in second half instead of Poulsen. We need changes!
