True that Alen, but without dramatizing things, we do play in Serie A, and you must admit this doesnt bode well for the league, and indirectly for us too. This not calciopoli forcibly weakening top teams, if it happens (Kaka is sure, Ibra less so, but he wants to leave, someone just needs to offer big money) its a CLEAR decline and loss of face if the two best players of the league are sold, and non near their stature comes in.

It will only mean more or whats happening now, that no one of note will want to come to Italy when the best players arent player there (You already hear players constantly making statements like they dont seriously consider Serie A when they have EPL or big two options in La Liga). Yes, it will mean we will have way less chance of signing likes of Benzema if we would want to, when the league loses the star players that are the face out for the league, and part of its attraction.
Absolutely. This is terrible news for the league, but then again if Diego can pull through, set the world on fire and become the best player in Serie A, that will attract some fans.

Then we also have to remember the Mourinho effect. I'm sure other top players will want to play for him in another league.

mediocrity begets mediocrity

i believe the owners in serie A have money to bring in more big names from other leagues. now its not that much of a stretch that these players would leave the EPL/SPL for more money. its not like italy is a wasteland for football.

if teams like inter and milan both liquidate their superstars to other leagues then they themselves are hurting Serie A more than anyone else.

He wasn't crap, it was his first year in a new country, a new language, a new system, and a team with a new system.
New country his ass... all three of them, in fact.

i'd rather he went anywhere than the cunt english premier league. Hate how that league bought their way to the top, and their arrogant fans make me sick. Come on real buy him before the bastards do
I wanna see a financial meltdown! Chelsea or Real cratering financially over Kaka. That would be sooooo sweet.

Only trouble is that Milan will be able to buy Manchester City with the funds at this rate...

the happiest day of my life was when england failed to qualify to the euro. I was happier on that day, then I was when italy won the world cup. Is this the fate of footballers ? What will happen to diego if he turns out to be world class ? Be sold to man utd at 80 million ?
hate the premir league scum who destroyed our game

Are you an Azzurri supporter then (FootieDeebo)?

Without Kaka and Ibrahimovic we'll probably have a better chance of winning the Scudetto but it'd be a blow for us in the long run. You're developing only when your rivals are competent and strong.
:agree:

I'd love to see Serie A stronger than the disgusting teams from the EPL.

I think he will end up in Real, not in Chelsea. He wants Real and unless Chelsea offer much higher wages then i can't see Kaka going to any other team but Real. And i hope too that he will end up in Real, not Chelsea (only because Real offers less money to Milan :D )

dont you get it guys ? If kaka goes to chelsea it'll be a loss to football, italian teams being effected the most. No longer would we be able to buy good players anymore. Every time someone will sell a decent player, it'll be 30 million, and we cant afford that. Serie A will be finished , all the big players will at the dick head league (premir league) and we'll become like the french and have all of our best players playing in foreign leagues.

A sign of the end of football is the fact the there has been 3 epl teams in the semis for the past 3 years. This could go on forever, no one would compete anymore. Go 5 years in the future and it'll be all over

In theory, yes. In reality, no. Look at the number of years and the tons of Euros Moratti poured into Inter with successive failures. The only thing that bailed them out was a legal department and some media hype that gave them an opportunity window -- but they still haven't delivered on the European stage.

Money still doesn't buy championships, it just makes it a whole lot easier.

dude things have changed. Were all going through an economy crises, any team outside the premir league would be fighting for survival. There is no coincidence that the premir league turns 10 times as good as soon as money comes in. Yes at times we were richer, but never before has the difference been so big. Platini needs to do something fast.
Morrati's money cant be compared with the english's, the premir league finance just takes the cake, its infinite !

Ronaldinho was probably Milan's best player during the first few months of the season.
He was.
But why? What do you think is the reason he was great only at the start of the season?

Ronaldinho is a great player. Probably the biggest pure talent i've seen in my life. He was 28 when Milan bought him. He just turned 29. He's not old at all, he's the same age Zidane was when we sold him for a world record transfer.
His problems are of different nature. In Barca he gained weight, he stopped training. It looked like he was sick and tired of football.

Then Milan bought him, he found new motivation. He started working properly and he had great start. He did what he was supposed to do - this is the reason why he was great at the beginning.
But after a while he went back to his old ways. First he was caught partying with Adriano until the morning. Mourinho immediately suspended Adriano while Ancelotti said "We let our players to go out until 4 a.m". What kind of statement is that? He indirectly told Dinho to keep doing whatever he wants.
Then there were reports that Dinho is missing trainings, that he drives a bike for 30 minutes and goes home while all the others are training hard.
Of course, he started playing bad and lost his place in the team.
Yes, he was indeed sick and tired of football.

Now, chances are that he's done as a football player. But there is hope for Milan fans that he might be great again next year. It's a world cup year. Dinho had a secured place in Brazil's NT but now he's not even called for the confederations cup.
If he thinks that there is a danger to miss out on the world cup, that might be his motivation next year. He can still be great if he wants, but it's all up to him now.
