I wouldn't have done anything differently. I'm just pointing out the fact that the English commentators on ESPN have a tendency to fluff up all of Mourinho's tactical decisions.
True, they don't even complement the Inter players at all. Instead they give all credit for any achievements to Jozay.

It is not. If Inter had played stupidly like Bayern to concede four goals in one half what would you have called their football then?

Defending well is as valuable as attacking well. I even think it's just as beautiful.
We have seen in the past how sitting back against Barca has not worked, like Chelsea did last year for instance. Usually they end up breaking the opponents down. They did today as well but the goal was probably correctly called back.

I think if Barca still had Eto'o and not a lazy bastard up top they probably would have went through.

The only good thing about this CL final is that somebody else is going to win it, not a repeat offender. Glad to see the English out, glad to see Barca won't win it, but was hoping Lyon would take it.

To see Inter win this thing is just as bad as Manure lifting the trophy.

Btw, just watching post studio stuff, and Mourinho is PATHETIC in epic proportions, they just showed footage, in the middle of the game at the sidelines Ibra is drinking water and having quick talk with Pep, Mourinho comes up from behind, touches Pep on the shoulder, and says something in a mocking/boasting face, Pep turns around suprised, and Ibra has this face of wtf is he doing? Just looking at this little incident examplifies what FUCK Mourinho is, king of douches.

messi as good as maradona :howler:
Overreaction to a great game against a not very good Arsenal defense

Tonight, like last week, I saw a team know how to defend Messi, not that thing they call in Spain where they gaze into his eyes as he runs around them. I'm not dissing him, but the whole world is getting far too excited over a 22 year old.

Argentina must really hope Cambiasso goes to the WC.

We have also seen in the past that defensive excellence bring you trophies.

I saw that during the half time. Thought it was extremely funny...

I thought Muntari on the far side may have just played him on.

Not sure, though.
It was difficult to tell. From the camera angle I saw he and another Barca player looked offside or at least enough so that if it had been any team but Barca it would have been given that way.

I love it how Mourinho taught some of his players how to steal the ball from Messi :lol2:

It was so easy that it looked silly, a seven year old could have been taught to do that.

ITV showed a slow-zoomed images of Keita's 'handball'... It wasn't a handball, he got the ball with his stomach. But IMO still a deserved win for Inter, after all, the sending off of Motta was very harsh.
