They were 10 men and in the first game in San Siro they owned Barcelona with an amazing football. They kind of deserved to play ultra defensive football.
Completely agree, I suspect the Barca players will all whine about Inter's "anti-football" but they did well. Barca have only themselves to blame for losing 3-1 at the San Siro and then failing to take advantage of a referee who was just handing them gifts at home.

I found the match boring except for the last 10 mins. Inter defended their ass out, but it's nice to see Barca defeated finally. Forza Bayern in the finals.

not even maradona or pele would've done something against 10 men in front of him for 90 minutes. You're a bit harsh...and messi proved himself in big matches (last year's final)
He did nothing in the first leg and did nothing in the semi against Chelsea last year.

Give me any coach who would do things differently away to Barca, having a 3-1 lead playing with 10 men.

That's not oldschool Italian football, that's surviving. Mourinho set his team up brilliantly in the first leg and defensively things were really well organized this game aswell.

Also, Barca were simply too slow to really create anything, we've seen Barca do far better at home, it's not just because of Inter.
I wouldn't have done anything differently. I'm just pointing out the fact that the English commentators on ESPN have a tendency to fluff up all of Mourinho's tactical decisions.
