If Messi is a choker, then that confirms Ronaldo is a choker.

So if we want to be silly then lets go all out.
I don't really think Messi is a choker, but neither are 90% of those called chokers round here.

I just think he is a rather limited and predictable player, who top defences will figure out very quickly.

We have seen in the past how sitting back against Barca has not worked, like Chelsea did last year for instance. Usually they end up breaking the opponents down. They did today as well but the goal was probably correctly called back.

I think if Barca still had Eto'o and not a lazy bastard up top they probably would have went through.

The only good thing about this CL final is that somebody else is going to win it, not a repeat offender. Glad to see the English out, glad to see Barca won't win it, but was hoping Lyon would take it.

To see Inter win this thing is just as bad as Manure lifting the trophy.
They played their worst games of the season against Chelsea in both legs, a team who defended well against them. Barca deserved to win the CL last year looking at how they played throughout the season but against Chelsea, it was mostly because ridiculous refereeing errors.

We have also seen in the past that defensive excellence bring you trophies.
True, but over the past decade most who have won the Champions League have been very solid attacking teams, Barca and Manure being the recent examples. Same with Milan.

Of course, the best solution is to be a good two-way team like Man United was in 2008, but even then they liked to take ahold of the match and not sit back, which is my point.

I saw that during the half time. Thought it was extremely funny...
The guy has no shame, have you heard of a top coach going up to his opponents coach while he is talking to his player in his zone, and interrupt with some childish mocking gesture? I mean, seriously wtf?

Wow. Very poor by barca, considering they needed two goals they played with no urgency until they went 1 up and by then it was too late. They were just too content to pass the ball around inters box woth no sense of penetration. Inter deserved this, unfortunately. Hope$ully ribery gets his suspension gets lifted...

that's why he's the special one..that's his charm...his signature...if we was calm like our beloved ranieri he wouldn't had the success he is having.

I don't care which one has been more successful than the other, both have worked both have their times and both can lead you to your goals.

Eh, sour grapes aside, Chelsea's gameplan still didn't work. If it did, they'd be in the final like Inter will be this year.
