I bet you that if Diego played under Mourinho at this Inter team, he'd have Deco-like performances at Porto times two. It really helps Sneijder that he has competent wingers like Maicon around him along a better passing central midfield. There's no doubt the likes of Cambiasshole, Zanetti, Stankovic and Motta have better passing ability than Sissoko, Melo and Poulsen. Well, at least what Melo has shown thus far. He can do better than this.

balo is miles ahead of him. if it werent for his attitude he'd be a regular.

Definitely better than eto in his current flop form.

Defense splitting passes and free kicks and maybe speed. O and he's more calm

That's pretty accurate although I would reserve my judgement on defense splitting passes because playing for this Inter is far more advantageous than playing for this Juve. The fact is, Sneijder has more room to be creative and better players to work with.

As for the last part, whether it's always better to be calm is debatable.

I saw Diego now for many years and Sneijder is better in all these things.
But that doesn't make Diego a bad player:p He's still young and can learn.

By the way, about the whole 'Sneijder being calm' thing, didn't he get about two red cards this season. I distinctively remember the one he got against Milan. Not very calm if you ask me.

Calm in his movement and decision making. Being calm doesn't exclude that he's an idiot like Camo.
Diego is pure hectic when he has the ball.

I'd have to disagree unless you show me exactly how Diego is hectic when he has the ball. Amauri's hectic with the ball, Chiellini too, De Ceglie possibly, definitely Iaquinta, Sissoko wins the best of the worst prize here hands down, but Diego?

I don't think Sneijder and Diego play in the same positions anyway. Diego as a Terquartista is ten times better while Sniejder in a playmaker role is a whole different issue.

It's the way he moves with the ball. He's not calm and relaxed, he jumps around and is just hectic and looks like he struggles to decide where to move and what to do. This doesn't has to be a bad thing. He just needs to relax more and don't rush so much with his feet. From a playmaker I expect a ball movement like Del Piero or Zidane has it for example. Again this is just Diegos type of play which doesn't make him a bad player.

Now that's a good observation, Sab.

Diego definitely doesn't exude calmness when he's on the ball. Unlike for example the hotheaded Camo.
Are you sarcastic?

Right, Diego just has a different style I agree. But he also tries defending and sometimes makes some pretty impressive tackles. If anything, I'd say that his playing style gives him an advantage over players like Zidane, Xavi, and Fabregas.

Hell no. I completely agreed with what you said about Diego.

Or wouldn't you say that Camo is a calm player with the ball at his feet? Even though he isn't exactly a calm guy.
Ah, i was confused:D

Camo is a calm player with the ball and an idiot without, no doubt :agree:
I loved the calmness of Zanetti, wow that was something when he had the ball.
