I hope Milan, Roma and Fiorentina go far in Europe. Were only 7 and 9 points behind Milan and Roma respectively, and neither have deep squads. Fatigue and injuries will kick in the longer they remain in Europe. (I realize were in the same boat, but all the talk seems to be about a top 4 finish, so I don't think were gonna take the EL very seriously).

As for the coefficient argument, at the beginning of the season a lot of you were saying how 4 or 3 spots is irrelevant as Juve will always be a top 3 team. Regardless of how you feel about other teams, our situation over the past few months hopefully has driven home y 4 spots is important.

As for the first part of your post.... with the way we're playing, with the coach on our bench, with the number of matches left and with the schedule we have (away to Inter, Milan, Napoli, Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Udinese) the last thing I think about right now is winning the 3rd place and cheering for Milan in Europe so they'll get fatigued and lose the 3rd place to us.

I made no mention of Inter doing well in Europe. Whether Inter succeed in Europe has little consequence on their position in serie a, based on the status of their competition and the makeup of their squad.

As for Milan, Roma and Fiorentina going far, I want them to progress because it increases our chance of a top 4 finish, for the reasons I stated before (fatigue/injury).

Given we are having a shit season and are struggling to break the top 4, Italian teams progressing in Europe is actually more of a “good for Juve” argument than it is a "good for serie a" argument at this moment in time.

I realize that a shitty coefficient this season would not take effect next season anyway, but 4 CL spots is a nice safety net should we ever be in this spot again, which given our management, is a very real possibility.

I would never cheer for an italian club no matter what, screw the coefficient points. No one likes Juve in italy (except Juve fans). Inter are the real champions, milan are the best italian club in europe (according to their fans) and Juve are just a bunch of cheaters nothing more.

I say fuck them, hope milan gets "raped" pretty hard from United. Personaly i've never liked United and they were on top of that hate list before the calciopoli. But now, i just cheer for every club that plays against an Italian club ,don't care who they are.
