Forza MU and Lyon!

Wait, why is there only 2 games today?
Because as of this year the second round of the CL will played on a span of 4 weeks. Two games today, two games tomorrow, two games next Tuesday and two games next Wednesday. Followed by two weeks of return fixtures.

Cut the coefficient argument. If all of you cared about the coefficient you'd have supported Inter too.
It's very convenient to use the coefficient argument as an excuse to support Milan but not use it when it's about Inter. If you guys care about the coefficient you'll wish every Italian team in CL and UEFA to gain as many pts possible and go as further possible.
At least be honest, like Rab is for example. Rab hates Inter the most so he wants them to lose. He's not using the coefficient argument and he doesn't need to invent reasons why he supports one team and doesn't support another one.
Most of you don't do that but you're being selective with the excuses.

I'm not bothered about who wins in Milan v Man Utd, though I'd prefer Man Utd won.

However, is there not a case to be made for saying Italy needs at least one of its teams to do fairly well for the sake of the co-efficient and Italy retaining the fourth CL spot?
One team doing good won't change anything. At least 50% of the teams need to do well if the Italians want to keep the top 3.
And if we want one team to do good, we have our team and our team is still in position to gain just as much points as the teams in CL (Due to the same number of points CL and Europa League bring).

You're being very misleading here. You must understand that Roma losing is also good for us, even if they aren't the closest side to us in the standings. Sure, I hate Ranieri, but I'd also like the sides above us to start slipping up. Would it, or would it not, make it easier for us to secure the CL spot if Roma were to start losing points? The answer is obvious.
And Milan isn't in direct competition with us for Champions League since we're out, if you haven't heard.

And you just hate Milan like I hate Manure, so there isn't a difference at all.

Yes, if Roma plays against Siena, Livorno, Bologna. Yes, in this case of course I'd like Roma to lose. But I don't see how could I want Napoli or Sampdoria to beat Roma in situation where 14 rounds till the end, with Juve struggling like we rarely did, Roma are 9 points above us while Sampdoria and Napoli are our direct rivals for the 4th place.

If Napoli-Roma or Sampdoria-Milan are played tomorrow you'll cheer for Napoli and Sampdoria. Why? I see absolutely no logic in it.
Who did you want to win last week on Roma-Palermo? With Roma's win we actually overtook Palermo in the standings. If Palermo won we'd have one more CL rival ahead of us, together with Napoli and Sampdoria.
Even I, the one that hates Milan as you say, will cheer for them in the situation we're in. And of course I'll do it when I know that it's the best for Juve. But you're being so selfish that your hatred for Ranieri is clouding your judgment.

I'm not really sure whether it's better like this or not.

    What do you think?

Of course it's better, we can watch more quality full games... live. They should've done this a long time ago, too many good games ended up starting at the same time before.

For the football fans it's better since they can watch more matches.
For the football teams it can be better or be worse, depending on their league schedule, injuries etc.

For example....Lets say you play against Inter in round 24 and Livorno in round 25. If you play your CL game after round 24 then you have 2 hard matches in 3-4 days. But if you play your CL game after round 25 then you can even rest some of your players when you play Livorno.
    Or vice-versa.

Livorno is a hard team... for us :p

But the schedule is random, so as you said it could be better or worse. So from the teams' side, nothing really changes.

Do you really want my honest opinion?

UEFA did that for the sole reason of more TV money and thus makes football even more commercial than it already is. Of course for entertainment they have achieved their goal but in the long run they are still killing small teams and pumping up big teams.

I think that argument is somehow irrelevant as it's the schedule and the injuries that decide that whichever way you twist it around.
