I know. And it's your right to do it and cheer for whoever you wish to cheer and for whatever reasons.
Just like it's icεmαή's right to cheer for Milan so he can make fun of his room-mate instead of cheering against Juve's rival getting stronger and richer. Just like it's Andy's right to prefer Ranieri not to succeed with Roma instead of wanting Juve's main rivals for the 4th place in the league to fail and Juve to secure CL football next season.

I'll go with what I think is the best for Juve so I'll support whoever plays against our 4th place rivals in serie A and whoever plays against Inter and Milan in CL.
I too hate some non-Italian teams, like Barcelona or Manchester, but not as much as I love Juve.
So I made my choice, You guys made yours and lets leave it at that.
You're being very misleading here. You must understand that Roma losing is also good for us, even if they aren't the closest side to us in the standings. Sure, I hate Ranieri, but I'd also like the sides above us to start slipping up. Would it, or would it not, make it easier for us to secure the CL spot if Roma were to start losing points? The answer is obvious.

And Milan isn't in direct competition with us for Champions League since we're out, if you haven't heard.

And you just hate Milan like I hate Manure, so there isn't a difference at all.

I'm not bothered about who wins in Milan v Man Utd, though I'd prefer Man Utd won.

However, is there not a case to be made for saying Italy needs at least one of its teams to do fairly well for the sake of the co-efficient and Italy retaining the fourth CL spot?

Red, why are you being so sensible?

We have all read it time & time again that the 4th Italian CL spot isn't important for us as Juve fans. It's not like we'll ever struggle to finish 4th. We will allways finish in the top 3 and you know that as well as everyone else here.

Wait, I think I'm overlooking something here...

Your statement is valid from 2010-2011 season :D

I personally don't understand how one can support his rival over a team from another league. I don't have any particular strong feeling towards any team outside the EPL. But i hate Chelsea and United and always wish the worst for them.

Man Utd 1-0 away win, goal from Berbatov or Fletcher.

I'm just worried about sponsors and TV companies wanting less to do with Serie A which means less money for Juventus. I don't think many teams in these times would be able to dominate Europe in a league below the quality of the top ones. I don't want to become Ajax.

Finally a CL night. It's gonna be great tonight, I love to watch it. Sucks that we're not there but oh well...

Milan - Manchester :delpiero: Predictions?

1-1 draw most probably.

Well you could have a point here. But if i were in your shoes, i would still find it odd and hard to be cheering for Milan or Inter.

Oh no don't get me wrong I don't really want either to win the whole thing. I just want them to beat the German teams, then my support is firmly behind CSKA.

Living in england I can almost in all honesty agree and say that this is the general support from EPL fans, they will prefer a fellow EPL team to progress rather than a foreign team. Personally I like and agree that 'philosophy' and for me its Forza Juve as well as Serie A. In the best league debates, imagine how it would feel to be called that Juve? oh yeah them, they play in a crap league. The facts are going against us sadly coefficients was once with us, and when we rocked we rocked serie A, we rocked the best league in the world.

I really don't care about which is the best league, ever since the EPL became the best league Arsenal have struggled to compete, especially with the debts that came with the new stadium and the youth policy that followed that. So actually its better for me as an Arsenal fan for the league to get a little weaker :p
