Although it did appear they were playing with a straight 4-4-2 against Hoffenheim.

they were..... van gaal had a discussion with ribery because he didn't wanted to play as a trequarista....he wanted to play on the left....but it seems that he have accepted the new role .... will have a close eye at the weekend at bayern
