The funny thing is that the first team i started suppurting in football was juve. It's juve how played in the first full football match i saw ( Against Ajax in the CL final).

In school when everyone had a israeli team, i didnt want to be left out so i picked Haifa.

Juve is my first club, and i will cheer for them in Israel, Strange but it feels so right...
I am going to cheer for Juve as well but ofcourse I want Haifa to finish 2nd

Dunno if you guys remember, but we had a similar group in 2004/05.
Bayern, Juventus, Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

We again have Bayern and an Israeli team, while the only difference is Bordeaux instead of Ajax.
Ajax had an ok team with Heitinga, De Jong, Maxwell, Sonck, Sneijder, Van der Vaart, Pienaar, Grygera :)D).

Anyway, we were superior in the group. We started with five 1:0 wins (Capello style) and we drew the 6th match in Israel (1:1).

I remember Nedved deciding the first match against Ajax and i remember Del Piero's last minute goal in Munich.

Hope for the same outcome again. :)

Every Italian clubs always get a difficult group,

Inter are doomed with Barca and they also get long trip to Kiev and the Russian champion Rubin Kazan

Fiorentina also get a hard group with Liverpool and Lyon, they have bad record against Lyon last season. But there still a hope because Liverpool is not in form

Milan get RM and Marseille, i don't think their group is easier than us
    Bayern Munich < Real Madrid
but Bordeaux is definitely better than OM. Bordeaux scored a lot of goals this season in Ligue 1. but i don't know when OM can get all their first team player (M'Bami, Lucho, Bonnart) back from injury. Bordeaux > OM
and about Haifa and Zurich, i don't know about their team now but i think going to Israel will be a long trip than go to Swiss.

UEFA has a cruel sense of humour...they like to see an old lady have to fight a bunch of Jews and Nazis

Also, those who know Bordeaux and Bayern better should tell us about their starting XI's.

A load of old cobblers has been spouted here about the English getting easy rides and Italian difficult.

Fact is nearly all the groups will be walks in the parks for the top two teams.
