Unfortunately Milan are pathetic,.
:disagree:

If they took their chances in the first leg the game could of been at 3-0 at half time. Difference was Rooney was a master finisher while Hunterlaar was a joke. Cannot believe anybody rates Hunter the guy is a serious joke.

Huntelaar may not be the best striker in the game, but he's definitely no joke either.
He has proven that time and time again.

In the Dutch league.

Coincidentally, a lot of people right now are rating another striker who plays in that same league as the best possible option for us. And that league has probably even weakened in the meantime.

Even if Milan were super strong, it was still gonna be hard to expect them to do what no-one ever did to Manchester at home in CL. Beat them by more than 1 goal difference.
On 78 home matches in the CL, Manchester were NEVER defeated by more than 1 goal difference.

Only on 4 of these 78 matches Manchester conceded more than 2 goals (all 4 times against Spanish teams. Twice against Real 4:3 and 2:3, once La Coruna 2:3 and once Barcelona 3:3). The last time they conceded more than two goals at home was back in 2003 when they beat Real 4:3.

It's gonna be extremely tough to beat by 2 goals, or win 3:2, a typical home team like Manchester United.

Were talking about Suarez? Suarez has alot more to his game than Hunter has. For one he can dribble with the ball, is quicker and has better vision.

Yes, I was obviously referring to Suarez.

And I would agree that he has more to his game than Huntelaar (just like say Miccoli has more to his game than Trez, but I'd still prefer Trez no matter what).

The point is that Huntelaar has proven a lot more (in the Dutch league) than Suarez has (till now). Yet a lot of people seem to think that Huntelaar is pretty much worthless while, at the same time, they do rate Suarez. And why exactly do they rate Suarez? Indeed: based on performances in the Dutch league.

Maybe it's me, but I just can't understand that.

For me personally, I watched Suarez with Uruguay before even watching his performances in the Eredivise(Spelling?) I saw the lad had class they way he linked up with Forlan was immense. Then I went onto watching him in the Dutch League something I did not do with Hunterlaar mind you so my own experience of watching Hunterlaar was at Madrid,Holland and Milan all three teams he's played on he has never stood out for me.

All right Nick, I didn't mean to single you out anyway. I was just amazed at how many people preferred Suarez in that striker poll / thread.
You mentioning that you don't rate Huntelaar at all felt like a good moment to bring it up, that's all.

    Oh, and it's Eredivisie :D

I think I will drink for 3 days non-stop if Manchester destroy Milan 4:0 or 5:0 or something. Something like that will make me forget all the disappointments Juve gave to me this season.

Oh right, I forgot that I shouldn't wish Milan to lose in a Milan forum. I should wish they save Italian football and win everything possible.

Btw, is tonight the night where those who secretly support Milan will publicly support them under the mask that they just wish the well being of Italian football?

How can Milan's failure make up or make one forget about Juves failed season? :shifty:
