I still think it's near impossible that we get out from the preliminary rounds. You understood right. Fiorentina and Athletico are good teams like i said, they might as well cause us some problems, but there is no doubt at all that we will see them off. Now if it were Milan that got 4th place, i would be afraid.

I'm never over confident. On the contrary, fellow Arsenal fans have always told me that i am the most negative Arsenal fan there is, but i just don't see Athletico or Fiorentina beating us.

Both those teams are able to cause an upset for sure.
If Arsenal have a bad summer (transfers) then ...

If Eduardo stays fit, then it wouldn't matter that much. But because of the uncertainty surrounding Edu's fitness and because Wenger will most likely not replace Adebayor if he sold him, it probably will be a bad thing if he goes.

I'd rather we keep him.

You guys are forgetting that Gallas will be back by then. Our defense while shaky with Gallas in it too, is probably ten times better than our defense without him.

True, anything can happen in premileries though. If Arsenal draw Fiorentina or Atletico I would'nt put money on either team.

Ath Madrid is called Pathetico Madrid from what i have heard.

They def have a decent squad on paper actually but who knows, certain players might leave. Aguero is the talking point pretty much every summer, and who knows, someone, maybe even Perez could buy Forlan just for the sake of it, he scored a load of goals this season you know.

Don't know if it's just our own media crap, but newspapers here are suggesting Arsenal could send Eduardo back to Dinamo, because of all the injuries, on a one year loan deal. Do you know if there's any truth in that?

Jesus, that's arrogant. And this is coming from a team that hasn't won anything in ages. Let's hope you get Atletico and let's hope Atletico slaughter you.

I've heard about that, and i wouldn't put it past Wenger tbh. He'd probably do it, to give Bentdner and Vela more chances. So i wouldn't be surprised.

But i'm guessing its just rumors nonetheless.

We haven't won anything but we're still better than Athletico. There is no arrogance whatsoever in that statement.

We haven't won anything for a long time, and that is because we were poor that much is true. But last time i checked neither did Athletico, and even in our worst years they weren't close to us.

One of your players might get a 5th minute red card which results with a penalty.
That is one scenario where Atletico and Fiorentina might get a big win and eliminate you later.

Let's put it this way. If Juve were to play Athletico or Everton, how confident would you be?

I'd be convinced that we're the stronger team but aware that in knock-outs one single mistake might result with elimination, especially if your opponents ain't no pushovers.

I won't be as confident as you are.
