Bettega: Juventus will boost midfield from market's top shelf

Juventus chief Roberto Bettega has revealed they have a list of 15 midfielders from which they will choose to sign this summer.

Juve have put aside £25 million to strengthen their engineroom and among those under consideration are Rio Mavuba (Bordeaux), Florent Malouda (Lyon), Gilberto Silva (Arsenal) and Diego (Werder Bremen).

"We will raise the quality of central midfield to reflect what is expected at Juventus," said Bettega. "We have a list of 15 of the top midfielders in Europe and will choose our signings from this group."

On goalkeeper Gigi Buffon's future, Bettega added: "We have the ability to show Gigi that his best choice will be to stay. He will remain with Juve."

Malouda: "Ricevute offerte che non posso rifiutare"
07 05 2007

Malouda: "Received offers that I cannot refuse" 07 05 2007 Florent Malouda declared to have received offers that cannot refuse and that therefore with every probability will leave the olympique Lyons at the end of season.

"I know what I want and today I have in much hand offers that I could not refuse - it declared the transalpine centrocampista - Nevertheless, in a no club always can make what wants. Short-term I will meet the president Jean-Michel Aulas, even if I do not know when because is always very occupied. After that, I will know my future".

We remember that between the much interesting squads to Malouda, there are also Arsenal and Juventus.

Imo we have a good chance in signing Malouda, he likes Juventus and Deschamps likes him. It will just depend on the price and I think we can compete with Arsenal. He would be much easier to sign than Ribery knowing that he isn´t wanted by half of the Europre. Unfortunately he is not good as Ribery is but still I would be delighted if we sign him. Forza Malouda!

I wan't Malouda, but the Lyon policy scares me the most.
They are holding to their players so tight, the price may be too high.
But if we can get Ribery for 10-14£, I think we should go for him instead for MAlouda!
I would be satisfied with 1 of them!
Can he play right.

Kurani is another option that I would consider in the attack.
But acording to curi if we are done on Huntelaar no need for ANY MORE attackers
