Malouda is under contract at Lyon until 2011 but he has identified Juventus and Arsenal as the two clubs that would attract him the most if he decided to leave the French champions.

"When I signed a contract extension last summer, it was so I would not be asked about my future during this season," he told France Football.

"The chairman and I have set a meeting for the end of the current season, but I have a long-term contract at Lyon.

"I will leave only if I can find better somewhere else, but there are not so many clubs better than Lyon nowadays.

"Is it really a good idea to leave one year before Euro 2008?

"I am attracted by Italy and the English league.

"Juventus and Arsenal? These are exciting clubs because they have a past and a culture of their own, but there is nothing concrete with those clubs.

"It is possible they are following me, but since I play in the UEFA Champions League I know a lot of clubs are following me.

"Lyon may be stronger next season, in which case I could leave in 2008, after Euro."

Malouda also played down talk of a possible link with Chelsea, admitting that with the growing uncertainty over the future of coach Jose Mourinho, he was unsure which direction the club was heading in.

"Could my friend Didier Drogba attract me to Chelsea? There are a lot of uncertainties there," he said.

"Today can you say Mourinho will still be their coach next term?"

Lyon midfielder Florent Malouda admits he would consider a move to Arsenal or Juventus.

Malouda is contracted to Lyon until 2011 and is concerned about moving on ahead of next summer's European Championship, but is staying open-minded about his future.

He insists he would only leave Lyon for a better club, and has identified Juventus and Arsenal as the two clubs that would attract him the most.

I really wonder how many french players we've been linked to.....
I´m all in for quality French players.

no not malouda it would kill me to see this diving piece of trash in a juve jersey
anybody remember 5 minutes into the world cup final????? There is no way that was a penalty and no way should that jerk ever play at juve, plus he seems like a mercenary just like veira thuram and ibra he would probly ditch juve any chance he got.
Shut up.

Did Matrix deserve the red card? NO
Grosso has all the right to dive since Italy were punished for no reason(It's not like he dived nyway)

Malouda dived early on so France can get an early goal n then sit back n enjoy(just like they did with Portugal), but Matrix was there to teach the United Nations of Football not to mess around with Italia

Oh please, what a load of biased bullshit. Italian players are allowed to dive, but Cristiano Ronaldo is an asshole when he does it? Yeah right, Italy should have never passed Australia, they won by cheating. After all, diving is cheating, isn´t it, Nabil?

I'm all in for Fair play, but when a game gets ruined, the one who started the non-fair play should get punished

Remind me of Henry's dive against Spain(France shouldn't have passed Spain)

Italy should've never passed Australia, that's what Fifa wanted, n u know it

France wasn´t too convincing for the whole tournament, but they had tougher opponents on their way to Final. As much as I don´t approve diving, I think France was a better opponent against Spain, Brazil and Portugal. Italy on the other hand had easier way playing against Ukraine and Australia.

You can´t escape diving and other unfair things in big and nervous matches, but you said Italy should get away with it and when Italy does it it´s okay while I think the rules and standards apply to Italy also.

Italian NT wasn´t an angel during the WC. So, please let´s drop this cause it´s pointless....

malouda made zambrotta look like an amature in the world cup final, hes a top notch player not many around as good as him, and hes still young if he wants to come here then that would be a brilliant signing
:agree: If we get only one from the trio Malouda, Ribery and Quaresma, I would be happy

If you truly believe in these things then I'm ashamed to have somone such as you support my team. GTFO of this forum.

Malouda would be perfect for our left wing, where we to use a playmaker centrally, such as Almirón. He has excellent pace, something we have been missing for quite a while. I would dare say that we haven't had a decent attacking player the past 2-3 years that has been genuinly fast. Someone who can make those runs down the flanks and into the penalty box.
