the team 1 & 2 are too offensive IMO. that leave just mavuba or silva as DM.
i find juve fans to be highly ironic and contradicting themselves. If we play with 1 DM then we are too offensive and if we play with 2 DM's we are too defensive and have no creativity.

Was just thinking that.

2 DM are needed with attacking full backs but only 1 DM is required if full backs don't go forward so much.

I just want 1 DMF @ Juve. Not 2. Almiron is still playing in the central part of the pitch, and can play next to a destructive player. Milan just have Gattuso as DMF, with Seedord, Kaká and Pirlo around him. Oddo and Jankulovski on wingbacks, and they won CL and play magically sometimes. We just need 1 DMF IMO.

Ontopic: Bring in Malouda!! But not for more than 12-15m €, cuz he is not a world class star on the biggest stage...

They had Ambrosini playing DM for a lot of the season as well as Gattuso. Also Pirlo helps out defensively.

I would also doubt that our CBs next season will be as good as Nesta and Maldini and so would need more protection.

I agree, we don't need two destroyers in midfield. Sometimes it depends on the sort of formation you play... Milan has two defensive middies to protect Pirlo but they also have backs that like to attack. Liverpool uses the straight 4-4-2 and just employs one defensive midfielder usually, and that works well for them. Two defensive midfielders in a straight 4-4-2 just really turns out to be ugly.

TWO-CLUB BATTLE FOR MALOUDA
Florent Malouda's future is still no closer to resolution with Lyon's chairman Jean-Michel Aulas speaking for F365's Gossip Columnist when he called on Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool to put up or shut up. Except, of course, he said it rather more politely.

"I'm waiting on a call from an English club so we can sort out a meeting," Aulas said. "The transfer could move forward if there is an offer that comes close to the price I've fixed. On players' values, I seldom get it wrong: today Malouda is [worth] £17m."

i watched malouda's performances in the world cup and i think he was very impressive then, especially in the final. for lyon in the CL he wasnt as good yet still a key performer. never seen him play in ligue 1 but heard good things. i really dislike him but he seems like a good player. i just hate him for that dive in the world cup final!

Ribery played better than Malouda IMO, hence the heavier price tag. I think we should prepare for a Camo's departure and bring someone in. Im not convinced Marchionni is enough on the right.
