It depends. Sometimes the step up in quality of teammates also plays a part and a player does even better than at a lower level. F.e.Licht played the best years of his career for Juve.
crosses too much? under allegri? did run with ball down flank only to back pass to sandro who back passes to bonucci who then passes it back to kostic who then back passes to sandro who then back passes to bonucci stop being a thing?

Also, when u look the way he plays, most of those crosses are really great quality, it's not like he tries to hit the ball the hardest he can and maybe someone reaches it, those are some lovely crosses from him or clever ones. He maybe is not the best dribbler out there but he surely knows how to time his cross to not get blocked too.

For real, even if they haven't got the same level of skill, I'd love the luxury of a squad packed with workhorses. The kind of player that make the opposition get tired just seeing them on the teamsheet
In terms of formation, I think we'll play a pseudo 4-3-3 where Kostic in the LW is more of a LM who runs up and down that left side and allows the LB to mostly just play back and defensive. Kind of like how Cuadrado was the "RW" and Danilo was the "RB" but in reality Danilo was just a third CB who didn't push forward much and Cuadrado would drop deep to play as a RWB in defense and a RW in attack.
