    Yeah, Barca's comeback last year has been one increadible performance. Ronaldihno would deserve it.

    But Greece won the Euro, and tradition for odd years is that a winner of a major international competition gets the trophy.

    Really stupid tradition though, Ronaldo didn't deserve it in 2003.

    If you think Gilardino should be on the list, then players like Mista, Torres, Ailton, Shearer, Djibril Cisse and even Tavez should be included!

    Ronaldo definitely deserves to be there.

    Thats exactly right, Gilardino, Mista, Torress, Ailton, Shearer, Cisse, and Tevez DO deserve to be on there, the whole point of the World Player Of The Year, is to acknoledge those that are 'shunned' in the European Player Of The Year, so while where at it, Robinho, D'Alessandro and Macharano also deserve to be there.

    Totti deserved to be on the list.
    Anyway my vote would go to Ronaldinho - currently the best player on the planet.

    I think players like Zambrotta or Totti deserve to be there! I hate Totti but he played great and is a great player, i have to admit, but i think hes spitting wasn't good for him!!!
    I think Zambrotta is the most consistant player in the world and isn't there, i can't understand!

    Never the less i would give it to Henry, he deserves it!!!

    If not Henry i would give it Maldini or Sheva!

    After last seasons performances I would say Sheva or Deco. They both played great and won very important titles. Rooney would be another name, but he is still way too young, and in 3 or 4 years, he will win it anyways!
