Imagine the South Korea - Italy game and the South - Korea Spain game were fixed. The audacity of Blatter to then come out and accuse the Italian and Spanish of being sore losers.. I mean, at the time I could have just killed that guy, because everyone saw Italy and Spain were robbed. But to actually say it when you know you kicked them out of the tournament.. My God.

Unfortunately it also sort of opens the door for one of my lingering suspicions: it's no coincidence that Italy and Spain won in 2006 and 2010. Perhaps they were rewarded..

Meh, there wasn't any major controversy in the 2006 and 2010 tournaments. Maybe the Italy vs Ukraine game had some doubts but that's it. Both teams were clearly the best in their respective wins.

The election did get interesting and Blatter is right about the timing of the investigation. But I wonder if his allies will still run the risk of being associated with him. I bet they sacrifice him.

Hasn't Ali been the vice-president for years now? If so, I don't see why should expect anything different from him. Different figurehead, same story.

206 valid votes:
Ali: 73
Blatter: 133

Blatter doesn't have a 2/3 majority so there'll be a second round of voting.

FUUCK. In the second round all that matters is getting the majority of votes.
