De Rossi is such a waste playing as a DM pushing Pirlo's wheelchair around. He is a true box-to-box CM and should be the focal point of our midfield.

Gattuso even in his absolute peak was a borderline NT player. Now words can't describe how awful he is. His weaknesses are dribbling, running and passing.

Please, never IQ and Gilardino together, ever again.

I would go for a 4-3-2-1 with Rossi and Cassano playing behind a striker. De Rossi in the center of the midfield and a tackler beside him. A good one like Brighi and a more mobile playmaker to his left like D'Agostino or another tackler with some offensive ability.

Man harsh on Pirlo. He is a great player but is better when he does not have as much defenvie resposibility and can play a bit further up the field. De Rossi for sure should be the focal point but you can't deny Pirlo's quality. Without him him the mid Italy will lose alot of class.

De Rossi and Pirlo should be the 2 certain starters in midfield.. the other spot is up for grabs (assuming we play 433)

If Juve could take Pirlo and put him in our midfield with Momo and Marchisio we would be rediculously good.

He didn't have very much support with De Rossi dropping down too deep with Gatusso and IQ fading away with Gila in attack. Camoranesi was a little disappointing for me.

As for G.Rossi, you have to admire the guy. He's a wonderful talent, and I disagree with Seven, I think Rossi does have what it takes to replace Ale and Totti. In fact, if he continues this way, he wil probably offer Italy more than the two combined. You can clearly see he has much more passion for the Azzuri than Del piero or Totti. As long as he gets more playing time, I don't see why we should expect any less from him.

Rossi has always showed that the national team has always been his number one priority.

For Ale and Totti, it's different. Del piero plays his heart out when he plays for Juve, and Totti does the same when he plays for Roma. The two always seem to offer much less when they play for Italy. It may be lack of motivation or desire, that's all I'm suggesting.

Rossi just seems to have that passion for the Azzuri that Del piero and Totti have forever been lacking.

We all know that Ale and Totti were not the reasons Italy won the world cup. On an individual level, the two offered very little. And caps don't mean anything football, and that's clearly not what I'm talking about.

Rossi is nowhere near anyone of them, of course. But from the few games I've seen for Rossi with the Azzuri, and the numerous games I've seen Ale and Totti with the Azzuri, it just seems to me that Rossi plays with a lot more heart for the Azzuri. Obviously, it's because he's a young player and he hasn't achieved any success on the club level unlike Ale and Totti, but that's exactly why I'm insinuating that Rossi, with him still playing outside of Italy and having a lot to prove to his country, will probably reached greater heights with Azzuri.

I'm not undervaluing Del piero or Totti as players at all. I'm simply stating that given the circumstances, I believe Rossi certainly seems like offering more to the Azzuri than Ale or Totti.

The score-line was entirely fraudulent. We played a great match before giving too much space up to Italy in midfield, but that's what happens when the referee ruins the game with an absurd straight red card on Clark. Second match vs. Italy in a row where the Azzurri is rewarded all the calls. In actuality, we should have had two penalties as that oaf Legrottaglie was all over Landon once again in the second half. I hope I don't have to watch that joke play for Juventus too much longer.

Very good effort by boys who should have been rewarded with a draw tonight, but Coach Bradley should be placed in an insane asylum. Bringing on Beasley and Kljestan were the wrong moves when Adu was on the bench. At least he brought on Davies.

Congratulations to the Juventus players in the squad, not so much Camoranesi because he's a prick, and congrats to the Azzurri fans with Italian citizenship. But zero congrats for all the fags from nations such as Belgium, Latvia, Saudi Arabia and others who support Italy just because their own nations blows. Sorry-assed fans.
