That was indeed offsides it appeared.
It wasn't whether Camo was in an offside position or not I was questioning.

It was whether, under the current interpretation of the offside rule, Camo was interfering with play.

In my opinion he was, but I think that it was pretty debatable under the rules.

I only watched the first half. Did Onyewu and Altidore play well in the second half?

Because they were amazing in the first 45 minutes.

P.S: And i just saw the last goal. That was a brilliant action

Hopefully one time for every goal Rossi scores in an Italian jersey. He lit you guys up like a Christmas tree.
I'm sorry, do you have Italian citizenship?

If you don't, you're not a real fan of the Azzurri.

Well, he was interfering with play. Afterall, it's what caused the own goal.

I can't wait to see Italy crash and burn in the WC next year. Rossi is a good player but he's really all Italy has in the 20-25 age range.

The only players who didn't play well in the second were the midfielders as they didn't close down Italy's midfield well enough. Spector, Gooch, Jay, and Bornstein were all good. Donovan and Jozy were very good throughout the game.

Altidore was left isolated and got subbed after about an hour.

Iaquinta called Onyewu a monkey and Onyewu went off crying. He is threatening to sue Iaquinta.

Oh shut up dumb ass. Both his goals were gifted to him and you know it. Rossi didn't do much to create for himself. He's a good player and he made a good strike off a turnover, but don't make it seem like some Herculean effort.

He hasn't played 200minutes yet for the Azzurri. It's too early man.
I know 5aye but I've been watching the guy play for a couple of years now. I've seen many U21 games and Villareal games, I believe he does have the talent to go very far. And now recently he has been excellent with the Azzuri, and the way he robbed the U.S midfielder of the ball, rushed forward, and unleashed an explosive strike into the far corner says a lot about his hunger. I honestly have never seen Del piero or Totti play that way for Italy, where they would try to win midfield battles and race for every single ball. That's all I was saying man.

But ofcourse, it's too early to really tell. I'm just predicting here.

When the ball was played he was offsides, and the linesman started to raise his flag at the same time our leftback (not like any of you lot know his name anyway) touched the ball.
Okay.. But some linesmen would have let the play continue, and that's why it was debatable dude.

I do actually so I can rightfully enjoy Rossi scoring goals for Italy for years. Too bad so sad, time to get over it. There are far worse people on Earth for you to direct your hate towards.

I don't think I've ever seen Donovan play as well as he did today.

Chiellini is in Jozy's pocket now.

You must be blind. On his first goal he won the ball with a tackle at midfield then put a bullet through the net from miles out.

Onyewu actually played very well and left Gilardino and Iaquinta wondering where they were.

That's my opinion, too.

However, the rule tends to be interpretated so much in favour of the attacker that that one could probably have just easily gone Italy's way.

The red card was harsh, the pen was a pen (Chiellini shouldn't have been sent off) and Legro's jump over Donovan was a foul, but you were never likely to be given a second penalty.

They have a Giovinco, too.

But I hope to see them crash and burn without a doubt.

I used to have sympathy for Italy and defend them against English football fans claiming the Azzurri are a bunch of divers and cheats. But I'm sorry, I can't defend them anymore. The English are indeed right -- the Azzurri are dirty and cheap, and they do indeed dive.

Gattuso, De Rossi, Greasy Grosso, Maggot Zambrotta, Traitor Rossi, Petite Pirlo, Legrottaglie, Luca Bologne, and others are simply disgusting players. No idea how people from other nations can like the, pretty sorry fans in my opinion.

Benny had a missed touch that Rossi gobbled up. What part of "turn-over" don't you understand? The second goal I would have put away. 1 v 1 against Spector and Bornstien, Rossi didn't do shit.

Both US CBs were very good.

Onyewu was at least partially at fault for De Rossi's goal, though. His air shot seemed to put Howard off.
