Do you realise how silly that sounds every world cup is a historic one. Just because it's the first time Spain won it it doesn't mean it's any more special than the others.
Mourinho won a treble, that is so much more historic in those terms, somebody always wins the world cup every time it's played, big whoop.
But it's not every day a treble happens.
Oh and the whole success of the Spain team is down to Aragones, he set the wheels of motion in place. Even I could have done Del Bosques job from there on.
Crap, you couldn't have done the job Bosque did.

The rest is also silly, but that was the silliest part of your post.

Big whoop, Serie A won by Inter (let's forget about the inferior opposition), big whoop Inter won the Ikea cup (or whatever it's called), big whoop they won the CL: So, ipso facto, you want the coach of each and every CL to win the prize.

Big Whoop!

Villa wasn't the best player in Spain and certainly not among the best 5 in Barcelona. He was the best only for Valencia.
Xavi also isn't the best player in Barcelona, Messi is.

We all know that the WC and CL performances are what counts the most here. The domestic performances are only seen as a number, i.e how many goals certain players scored.
Not many watch Sneijder when Inter play Chievo but everyone watched him at the WC and CL where he was amazing. He is a very strong candidate.

Imo, Ronaldo and Messi were still the best in the world in 2010, but their teams failed where it counted: WC and CL.

Agree completely here.

Because it is the WC and CL performances that are taken into consideration most, Sneider has a very big chance of getting it. Whether he deserves it or not is a completely different debate.

Also, i think Messi could have got away with his poor WC performance had he continued his club form of last season, this season, but he's been quite substandard this season(for his high standards at least), so he probably would come third to Sneider and Xavi.

If Casillas wins this award they should rename it the Ballon d'Horror.
I think just putting FIFA in the name and getting Sepp Blatter to award it pretty much conveys that perfectly anyway. :D
