You should go to futhead.com and plan a good cheap team (players costing about 500-1000 coins each).
Remember, chemistry is very important. Your players get good chemistry when they're playing next to someone from their own club, same league or same country. It also helps if they play in their favorite position and favorite formation. Every player is available in every formation.
I would advice you to play a cheap formation (everything except 4-1-2-1-2, 4-3-3 and 4-4-2) because players in 4-1-2-1-2 formations cost a lot more than the same player in 3-5-2 for example.
