First of all he is not scoring goals, and Chelsea will try to rebuild front line after end of this season. Rumours say about Cavani, Van Persie, Falcao and other stuning strikers. There will not be space for all - Drogba, Torres, Sturridge, Mata and new superstar - forward.

There is also one main reason why possibility of getting rid of Fernando is really high. Atmosphere inside the locker room. He is not feeling well with old army of Chelsea, with Terry, Lampard, Drogba, and rest. He is a squad outcast and this is a serious issue.

These two, three reasons can force Chelsea to sell him or at least loan with an option to buy after one year. I doubt that this will happen. I think Palacio will stay at Genoa until his contract will expire and then, he will return to Argentina to play for Boca.

I bet his price will skyrocket within a couple years, but he's more than that to Roma. The kid's still a teenager and has a lot to offer for a very long time. In hindsight 20 mill was a great move.
