An assist from Torres today. The guy is getting better and better.

We're not signing him...
It depends.

First of all he is not scoring goals, and Chelsea will try to rebuild front line after end of this season. Rumours say about Cavani, Van Persie, Falcao and other stuning strikers. There will not be space for all - Drogba, Torres, Sturridge, Mata and new superstar - forward.

There is also one main reason why possibility of getting rid of Fernando is really high. Atmosphere inside the locker room. He is not feeling well with old army of Chelsea, with Terry, Lampard, Drogba, and rest. He is a squad outcast and this is a serious issue.

These two, three reasons can force Chelsea to sell him or at least loan with an option to buy after one year. It sounds good for us, especially when we know that we will have like 100m euros per 3 years to splash out on the new players (excluding sales). It means that purchase Torres could be impossible for us this year if we are going to buy Jovetic for round sum first. But next year - why not?

Rumors of him being Roma's 'great' player and figures of 24mln euros being mentioned. His agent said there's nothing happening but Torres apparently 'likes' Enrique's plans.

I wouldn't be surprised.

I have a weird feeling it's a defender, though. Like Isla.

Indeed, but 24mln looks like a big discount. But still... his form since he came to Chelsea is just horrible. I doubt they'll sign him.

it just fits the profile, big player with big question mark and they will gamble the season on him. he will choke so hard :D

Roma is not able to buy or even loan Torres.

Rumours say that they are going to buy Palacio from Genua, and that's should be their "star" mentioned above.

I doubt that this will happen. I think Palacio will stay at Genoa until his contract will expire and then, he will return to Argentina to play for Boca.

I bet his price will skyrocket within a couple years, but he's more than that to Roma. The kid's still a teenager and has a lot to offer for a very long time. In hindsight 20 mill was a great move.
