Marotta should not be $#@!ing waiting on other clubs moves, we should be making our own moves long ago.
He always waits and waits to 'tough negotiate' in hopes the clubs will cave on the price and it'll go down. What he risks, and what usually winds up happening, is that the clubs either don't sell, or sell to someone who makes a realistic offer. In the end, when the transfer window is about to shut, we either wind up over-paying (16m for Matri) or picking up a charity-case (Toni, Borriello.... Pazzini??)

This time it'll work, bcuz there are more options available. One of them is bound to come. I'm positive that on the last days of the transfer market, the domino effect will start.

It's a possibility. Anyway, that shouldn't be Juventus' transfer strategy. We used to be an ambitious club. I know some are hoping for a domino effect so we land Dzeko, and should Dzeko become free - who's to say he won't head to Milan? Who have funds from Ibra's sale to splash out and haven't yet. Additionally, Llorente can still go to Arsenal (as they have been linked with him all summer). Man City keeps their current strikers. Adebeyor finally goes to Spurs. And we get Pazzini.

There will be no domino effect. RVP goes to MU which gives us nothing. City doesn't need to sell Dzeko, he's their 4th striker but someone has to be the one. We should not wait. If we want Dzeko, Marotta should be in Manchester already; If we want Llorente he should be in Bilbao pushing for the Spanish. WTF are we waiting for? The closer we're to the end of mercato, the prices will be higher or clubs will refuse to sell. Nobody wants to loose their best players for cheap with no decent replacement. An attacker is actually the only thing that we really need. We can live without LWB as we have options there. Spend the cash on one of Llorente/Dzeko and don't wait anymore as it'll not going to work out for us as usual.

But he is in Italy because he is working on Pazzini, a reality that we should accept the sooner the better.

Maybe you're right but I refuse to accept it. There may be no Dzeko nor Llorente but don't bring Cazzo for sake of spending. If we really can't afford a forward, just stick with what we have and save money for another year. If we bring that merda-reject we'll rather sooner than later realize he's useless and we'll be trying to offload him like Amauri and the likes. Can't we just learn from our mistakes?

If we can't afford more proved striker, we could move for Luis Muriel. That guy's got some talent and possibility of improvement unlike Cazzo. Just saying.

I agree with you but some here say that exchanging him with Quagliarella is actually good and others have a feeling he will be a monster in a Juve jersey. Whatever shit they are smoking I would like to have some.

I believe that Udinese will of letting him go at the moment is really doubtful. And there is as well a question if we need this type of player. From my point of view our main target was definded properly by club menagement (clinical striker) and we should splash out money for the best option available among finishers (with one exception - Jovetic).

Totally. That's the part of Marotta's mindset that I don't get. I mean if we are willing to spend say max 20mil on a WC striker but their club asks for an unreasonable price or the market's inflated by those big spenders, that we can't afford, I can get it. but why the hell should we instead throw away a hefty chunk of that money on some reject that will be a liability for us, pretty soon?

quag has contributed to juve very little for 2 years. he was good the 6 months before his inj, but has showed nothing after that. imo he is worthless to juve now, and therefor we should consider any offer for him.
pazzini cant possible contribute less than quag right?

Yes he can, at least Quag has class and is a cool player. Pazzini is crap, lacks character and has no class at all. There is also a big chance that he contributes less than Quag does. Pazzini will also demand a higher salary. Listen, no matter what you come up with there is no chance in hell that you can convince me of anything positive with Pazzini to Juve.
