Who do you believe is Juve's primary target? Or are we already done for this mercato?
Cavani (believe it or not) and Dzeko.

Bayer came with the 40 mill of the clause thinking Athletic will sell the player for the price of his buy-out clause... but then find out that Athletic was not selling at any price... so as there were no agreement between both clubs it was Martinez or Bayern who had to go to La Liga and buy the clause. The problem was that if martinez was the one doing the payment there were some issues regaring taxes that elevated the price of the operation in 8 milions (the amount is not very clear too)...
But isn't a buyout clause by it's very nature one that cannot be argued with once paid? The selling club relinquish rights of a player if the buyout clause is paid, I thought.

Bayern wanted and AGREEMENT for that amount
Athletic rejected any kind of AGREEMENT

there's legal and financial differences.

You are right, the buyout clause is fixed in Martinez' contract. However, Bilbao actually does not want to sell him and therefore resists to accept an official offer. Therefore Bayern wanted to transfer the money to Martinez, who then would buy himself out of the contract. Now, while transfers between clubs are definitely free of tax, it is not sure if Martinez would have to pay taxes if he is terminating the contract. The tax system in Spain is very complicated and now Bayern does not know for sure if they would have to pay taxes and if so, how much it would be.

Javi is aver good player.
Bielsa is makin play in the center of the defensive line

We got quite good players what could solve Martniez loss: San Jose (he has scored 2 goals BTW) and Ekiza have been doing it right.

The natural replacement would be San José what I think has to improve a lot to reach Martinez level but whom Bielsa has said he has the talent and skill to reach that level soon. So I'd say there's no replacement

I'm not worried about Martinez leaving... I'd sell him for 40 m. eyes closed.
I'd take him to Munich byself in my own car if needed...

Urrutia's fear is that bouy-out clauses lost their deterrent effect. We need our players to stay at any cost to make a strong proyect. He pay them extremly well, BTW
After the two games, Athletic clearly needs Javi Martinez, Amorebrita is cool. But not good enough.

And i think they can afford to lose Llorente now.

AMorebieta isn't even playing...

Now he have signed Aduriz from Valencia. He'll be very close to Llorente's last season numbers.
the "problem" is he's 31

Pedulla:Juve expect a definitive answer on Llorente from Athletic Bilbao by evening.

Also he says despite a desperate attempt from Juve to convince Fiorentina to give Jo-Jo ,Della Valle is not going to change his mind.
