Its not his favored position and i don't think he's that good when played so further up the pitch. I think Banega is more of a creative box to box CM while Gago is more laid back, better tackler and more of a deep lying play maker.

Deneb may be more able to judge here, as he has probably seen both players at the Argentine league.

banega for me, but hes not available as is the painter

Just because we get him on loan, it doesn't mean he's free. His Real salary is likely high and we'd have to cover it. All for a guy who likely wouldn't stay.

He's nothing special anyway.

"He wants regular playing time ahead of the World Cup."

"When he does not play, he stays at home and cries."

Apparently, they are quotes from Gago's agent...I am unsure whether to commend his passion for the game, or denounce the weakling as an insult to a long tradition of fine, tough argies...I imagine Maradona not playing, and out of anger, buying 6 g of coke, 8 hookers, then going to the stadium to watch his team play without him...Or Walter Samuel, headbutting a mirror for the full 90 minutes...Cannigia would obviously be with Diego...who else do we have...fuck...Simeone...he used to act tough, but then performed one of the worst diving atrocities of the last century, when he reacted to Beckham's petulant tap, as if he had been suckerpunched by a rabid bear with concrete paws. TWAT...never to be forgiven, his whole life and legacy beyond that tarnished. Matterazzi's dive from Zidane's headbutt, was different...it was part of the Furbiza...or whatever that word is, which the italians use to describe the dirtier side of Their Art...Maybe I am just a touch biased....hohoho..because i see Matterazzi's actions as having value, despite their snake like nature. Whereas the value of what simeoni did, gave me no pleasure...it helped him defeat half of my blood. Matterazi's show of unsavoury guile helped win victory for half my blood...

well it would help to actually be able to express yourself intelligibly, as that, above, makes zero sense(the mind, a form?) moreover maradona fields messi, according to you even given the opportunity we shouldnt play him once again lacking in sense, do you begin to see a trend here?
That would also mean that not only we don't play anyone maradona plays but we also play anyone maradona doesn't play.

Get a list of every Argentinean player thats not in maradona's starting 11 and lets have an Argentinian footballing army.

Who is lacking in sense? you are the one who doesnt pick up on exaggeration... so does most members here..

unless of coarse you do think maradona is a good coach (which is very possibly given you little mind) but then we'd have to put you in an asylum.

my little mind is telling you the messi argument was reductio ab absurdum, it's also recommending you brush up on your logic those inferences are as crap as they come

I don't know how you can condone Materazzi diving (although I do not think you can call it a dive, he did get hit pretty hard by Zidane) but he did overreact to make sure Zidane got sent off, but at the same time criticise Simeone for doing a similar thing to Beckham.

Sure he didnt get hit nearly as hard, but Beckham was just as stupid as Zidane and deserved to be sent off for such an idiotic kick.

Zidane ended his career on a massive high, with a show of the same vicious class that made me adore cantona...another frenchman. SO in that case, matterazzi and Zidane came out OK...There was contact, but Simeone's reaction to Beckham's tap was disgusting, not a slight exaggeration, simply appalling. And Beckham was petulant, Zidane was following some kind of code, of honour.

Similar incidents, but I am biased towards Matterazzi, and i quite like the part he played in helping Zidane end his career in such a volatile fashion, true to the nature of the man himself...

the argies share much of the italian cynicism. Which i often enjoy...but not when it fucks up the chances of half my blood to be happy...
