Yep, I heard that too. Datolo is more likely, he's not getting to much minutes at Napoli right now, having in mind that next year is WC year

By that, I assume Gago wants to leave to get more minutes, he is also in Maradona plans, probably.

Which is another reason we shouldnt get him.
I would always do the opposite of whatever maradona thinks...

does he even think?

yes because i intellectualize ...a form superior to the average minds.

well it would help to actually be able to express yourself intelligibly, as that, above, makes zero sense(the mind, a form?) moreover maradona fields messi, according to you even given the opportunity we shouldnt play him once again lacking in sense, do you begin to see a trend here?

So you would have never put in those through balls or chosen to brilliantly dribble around player after player because Maradona thought those moves up?

I agree with Deneb in this matter, even if I understand those who are against him, even if its bit fickle and exaggerated the level its taken to, he is NOT a bad player. Just one who is struggling lately, and it wasnt 2 years ago he was good, in fact Real's 17 games run last season, after Ramos took over, was partly due to Gago playing real well.

Its a risk, but considering we need midfielders due to two big absences, I would welcome a loan. And NO, he is not like Tiago, he is better then him. I would have zero suprise in seeing him do well as soon as he leaves Real and has a fresh start elsewhere.

Osman w/ the knowledge, whether here or on xtratime. Very well said.

If there's any chance at Gago on loan we must do it. He makes Tiago look like Danny Guthrie in comparison. He can see a pass, set the table, and like any Argie doesn't mind a tackle though can't jet about the pitch. Was immense for them in 08 and during that run last year when Robben was on fire, Gago was very good indeed. He's also made for our division imo.

Hehe, thanks I guess (whats your nick in XT?). All I'm saying is that Gago isnt a hopeless case, there is too much certainty in disregarding players who suffer with one club and then all act suprised when they succeed elsewhere (Sneijder went from being called shit by many here, to suddenly being top player etc). When the players quality was still evident even when suffering with the previous club.

what rubbish...

Lady Gaga is as close to Tiago as you vcan get, almost twins in the way that they play

If we are stupid enough to sign him, you'll see that when he doesnt have the time to pass the ball like he's given in La Liga, he will be as worthless as Tiago...and just as frail, too

Gago is a no, no at this point. Not that we should consider players of his mould in the first place, Ever Bangea would definately be a better option. He's been consistent for Valencia after his hurried move last year and is atleast showing promise opposed to just being frozen out like Gago.

Well, I think you are talking about a player who plays in a different position, Banega has been moved to behind David Villa. Polar opposite to Gago.

Its not his favored position and i don't think he's that good when played so further up the pitch. I think Banega is more of a creative box to box CM while Gago is more laid back, better tackler and more of a deep lying play maker.

Deneb may be more able to judge here, as he has probably seen both players at the Argentine league.
