* In order to sign Melo (price was even higher) the board of directors made an extra effort because everyone thought he was perfect for us (in terms of quality & personality).
* Reminds him of Montero (spirit) but with better feet
* Secco was surprised that Melo played as a leader from the very beginning, always available to teammates.
* We would have bought him earlier but there were no funds available, not in Serie B and not even upon our return. However, we always maintained a good contact with him and when the time was right we didn't hesitate.
