Because his name is in the papers?

The same guy who said last week that if his name is in the papers, then that means I must be worth a lot and that makes me happy?

Do you see anyone else acting the way he does because their name might be in the papers?
You can't deny the links with Inler are strong. There's a difference between him being happy about Real Madrid links and links of other CDMs coming to Juve. The latter, he should be informed of by the club or it should be clarified through dialogue initiated by the club. Its plain rude to negotiate with Udinese over Melo's position behind Melo's back.

I consider the military as the most retarded profession. I also served one year as an obligation and it was the most annoying period of my life. Thinking simply disappears.
doing that obligation perioud is not really retarded..some people need to be disciplined when their 19,20... I'm sure that if you followed your military career you would've been great plus working in a big collective is an advantage. the logic ends in the army, it's true. But it's nothing better than to serve your country (in times of need of course). My statute is military..same (non) rights...

How did you conclude that they negotiated over Melo's position? How do you know that they were not looking to bring Inler to play alongside Melo and Pirlo in a 4-3-3?

Then let's leave it at that we disagree.

Why does everyone think Conte is going to play a 4-3-3? That just got conjured up out of nowhere and now people think its going to happen because he tried it a few times. Inler-Pirlo-Melo is possible but I don't see why it would be desirable considering how static it would be. Its unlikely.

:howler: of course the invisible man and ballerina 2.0 fanboys will jump at this, melo spoke out of frustration yes we all know he can totally control his emotions and once again guess what so does the evil cyclops. I d much rather have the fighting spirit of a melo(with his 'alleged' disciplined issues) than the cowering losers who shouldnt even be warming our bench, yes thats marchisio and aquilani

He said he will adapt his formation with the players we have, he is not a one formation stuck up like Delneri.

I agree that thinking stops when you're in the military, and you can debate at great lengths about various militaries and state policies, but the truth is that any military cant function any other way. You can debate whether militaries are or arent necessary any more, but its the only way it can possibly work.

I wasn't saying anything against the fact that no thinking is the only way to make military work though.

oh please melo is just saying what we all say here, italians are viewed and regarded differently in Juve, and that is wrong. How does marchisio get an extension for doing jack shit and melo our best mid gets the boot? which posts are being shifted here?

with that rationale we should sell chiellini coz he would get the most
True. I was more on the lines of midfielders though :p

Melo is a primadonna who gets sent off often though.
He's been our best midfielder though. Sure he has the dizzy moments but I'd rather have him play 30 good games and get sent off in 8 than have Marchisio who has around 10 good games a year.

that has jack shit to do with the issue at hand i.e. Melo's irresponsible statements in the press!

you can keep adding on shit to that all the way to Il Avoccato's gravestone.

He wants to stay at Juventus, yet burns just about every bridge with his tirade.

Openly criticizing some of your teammates, regardless of whether there is truth to it, is just plain foolish and bad for team morale.

Openly criticizing the management, who stood by you last season when every level headed fan wanted you out, is even more foolish.

If anything, Juventus resurrected his career after he embarrassed himself for a year last season with club and country. The management gave him a second chance, and at the 1st hint that he is on the chopping block, he goes on a media rampage against teammates and management. Imagine if Buffon had acted the same way, or Trezeguet, both of whom were on the brink of moves away more than once.

He is a good player and I would have preferred to keep him, but he is not above Juventus. No1 is to blame here but himself.
Seriously, what is this about not criticising your teammates? That too at the end of the season? A terrible season! What is wrong about saying the truth?

The only one who showed support was Del Neri. Marotta did not say much neither last transfer period nor this one. I think he did well enough this season compared to the last. Cut him some slack!
