Some nice positioning at times but was caught out to let Sterling have a tap in, which he missed and maybe could have done better when Mount hit the bar (need to see it again). He wasn't tested too much overall. Looked composed and confident though.

Hopefully he's learnt a bit from playing against better opposition.
I didnt watch the game but we should give him minutes in the Italian cup or when we feel confident and then introduce him.

Its not that tough to find good center backs but it is tough to find someone who doesnt lose his concentration. We need to work on this and make sure he is ready.

Guido Angelozzi, Sporting Director of #Frosinone, to 'Sky Sport': "I was moved after seeing #Gatti with the Nazionale. Knowing the sacrifices that he did, it was a great satisfaction. Have I called him? No, I sent him a message. It's only right that he should stay calm and focused because on Tuesday there is another game. He's a serious and imposed boy. He's trying to take advantage of this opportunity. Could Federico become a starter at #Juventus? I have been saying it for some time: I believe that Gatti can play at #Juve, #Inter or #Milan. Or even in #ManCity of #Guardiola because he's a player with physicality, technique and speed. He is meant for this. Then it will be up to #Allegri to decide if he plays or not. He's potentially a player of a big club. #Gatti a player that could play at #ManchesterCity? To me yes. A boy that 20 months ago was playing in D and was good. He played in C and was good. He arrived at #Frosinone and was really good. #Mancini saw him in a training and he put him together with #Zerbin. He made his start against England and he played with an impressive simplicity and authority. He showed that he could mark two very strong English strikers with complete serenity. He's a player that could be at any level because he's strong".

This guy won't become a pussy. He had to work in a supermarket, as a window cleaner, and even as a bricklayer to support himself and his family.
Reminds me of Torricelli...wasn't he a furniture maker while playing in a lower team before joining us??

Gatti still has a lot to prove but the way he handled himself playing for his national team on debut was ridiculously good.

Frosinone speak about him like he is the second coming of Chiellini. Same for the media.

I watched 0 minute of Gatti until his debut for the NT so I don't know, but that there is this much confidence is exciting. I hope he is tried here instead of sent on loan.

Initially i was a bit annoyed to see Mancini leaving him out for this one but now looking at it i’m actually really glad and also relieved at the same time that he skipped yesterday’s game, his confidence and reputation gets to stay intact.
