This total bullshit and convenient hack job of a post. It's a pile on Chiesa, so there's this collective need to invent reasons to dismiss him further.
There's a difference of salary and there's a difference of reputation for him pre and post injuries.
Anything else like the above just reads like utter nonsense.
No seriously it can't be a coincidence that stories of Motta not keen on keeping Chiesa was already making the rounds before Motta was even officially appointed.
It can't be a coincidence that not a single big club wants Chiesa, even at a knock off price, these big clubs want players that fit into a disciplined tactical system look at the heat maps of Chiesa last season and how he's always drifting to the left when he's supposed to play a more supportive role to the striker, last season his form was attributed somewhat to his long recovery process, and this is coming from someone who likes Chiesa has his shirt etc... but ive always felt he thrived on basically having a free role and let him play on his own instincts.
Just to add I have mentioned this numerous times when stories of Motta wasn't so keen on keeping Chiesa, prior to Motta's arrival, and not just because it's a "hack job of a post" to make myself cope better with his imminent exit, this is simply me trying to make sense of Motta's thinking.

he thinks inter will offer him 6+m per year?
inter of all clubs? inter who is struggling financially?
he thinks inter will offer him that much money after 4 seasons of shit football he played where he can't play an entire match?
his dad needs to give him a reality check
Watch inter play him at wing back. That'll be funny.

the best option for him would have been signing a bridge contract and in the coming year work his ass up and onced proved himself to be worthy - i good contract will follow with juventus or with other suitor.
seeing how it ended up for dybala he should have been more wiser.
ungrateful princess !!
We tried that, chiesa wanted more money and we scoffed at it

If only he had the instinct to make a decision.
He does, just the wrong ones
