The explosiveness is great when he is on form, even if he doesnt score it can break the game. The problem is he is in decent form less than half the season, and when he isnt on form, he is totally useless.
Let's not forget his last year. Apart from first 2 months He was on fire in the remaining year. And our top 3 player in the process.

So due to the fact that you haven't watched enough of Chiesa, you're going to make a conclusion that he will not be beneficial to our team?
Chiesa is a hard worker. He's super direct in his way of playing. He cuts the crap and has a go for goal, while Costa is out there playing street football
Exactly. People is clinging to costa like if we are selling camoranesi on his prime or something.

The guy has showed some good things here and there but nothing consistently, and also he was expensive for what he has offered us. He has 2 seasons here and we have barely felt his mark. Yeh he is speedy and on his day he offers something different.... but that“on his day” part is the problem here. He is always injured or is out for who knows what issue.

If we can find someone more consistent and with a better mentality (not thinking about partying or spitting), then im all for it.

Pierpaolo Marino: "Chiesa?

I will pray for your health if we sell Dybala and replace him with Chiesa
That would be retarded, but we've done stupid shit before. In that case, a public execution of whoever sanctions that deal is definitely in order.

80M :ratcafe:

I have this weird feeling he's coming in to replace Dybala and not Costa even though they are different mould of players

Oh and looking forward to seeing him benched for an entire season because he needs time to 'integrate with the squad'

You know what the sad part is? People will find a way to justify that shit, and make up false narratives to claim he's actually better than Dybala :howler:

I don't even understand why we even have scouts tbh. What's up with the Eastern European market, the Argentinian market, and others?
