Alternatively he gets fit and ready for next season, lights it up, leaves for free and get his 10m plus elsewhere and we get stuck with our tail between our legs.

The sad thing in all this is the fact that he is the only player we have that can actually bring in decent coin to help with our financial issues. Yet so many are quick to say how shit he is and not worth a few million more per season.
Oh please. I’ve been a huge fan of his for his entire time here. But he’s been absolute rubbish for 2 of the past 3 years. Injured, out of shape, in bad form, piss poor attitude. He’s absolutely not a +10mil net/year player as things currently stand. Especially not on some 4-5 year contract that takes him to 32-33 years old.

We are in dire financial straits right now because of overpaying players based on what they have done in the past and disregarding recent form.

And no, we shouldn’t be adding 10-15 mil gross to our wage bill just in case Dybala decides to actually show up next season. Because if he’s asking for 12-15 mil, that’s a huge spike to our wage bill.

He could actually show up and perform on the pitch again, and earn his raise, instead of demanding a huge raise in the midst of a god-awful season.

He’ll be turning 29 in November of the season that he is available on a free for other clubs. He doesn’t have a particularly good work ethic, he doesn’t have much athleticism and is already losing some of his former quickness. Doesn’t look like he is going to age in the game particularly well because of this. You think a bunch of clubs are going to be willing to offer a Dybala a fat long-term contract as he’s about to enter his 30s? Especially if he doesn’t perform here again next year?

He’s going to get peanuts on the open market if he doesn’t light things up next season. And if he continues the contract dispute with the club, while refusing to be sold this summer, he’s going to put himself in position to have another massive failure of a year here, given the moody princess that he can be, which would mean he’s been awful for 3 of 4 seasons at that point. No one is going to be offering him 10mil plus/year if he’s coming off two straight single digit goalscoring season. His negotiating position is shit because of how bad he’s been in 2 of 3 seasons.
29 is best year for a player. He has good hair and the 10 suits him, enough for me to extend.

Talk about hitting the nail on the head. And furthermore like you stated if he continues a contract dispute while not letting Juve transfer him out ..... what says Juve gets a few FW players that perform well enough that #10 not needed and sits on the bench from a coach's decision rarely starting.

Especially if this guy is the coach again .....

Swap for..... someone. He'd be good at Real next to Benzema, maybe they give us Kroos or Casemiro :diculo:

If Carnevali would arrive as a new CEO, would it be the same position that Beppe held before? And who would make the final decision about the signings?

I will take who responsible for Lille mercato

The man is very good at buying and selling players
Even after they lost their star players to Arsenal and Napoli for big bang of bucks they still clinch the Ligue 1 with competitor like PSG

If you want to build a team this man is the answer. If they can do that with Lille budget, imagine what he can do with Juventus budget
