It's tough, most top wingers are already at top clubs. I guess i'd rather spend big on a midfielder like Fabinho.

Keep the 4231, get Danilo and a worldclass mid, add Keita and Orsolini as depth options for Serie-A so that Mandzu, Cuads and Dybala get a rest every now and then. That's what i would do.

I think we saw most out of both Mandzu and Cuads as far as they can bring. Which is really good, but will not bring CL. Therefore, I would prefer to bring in at least one attack minded player. Just not that thrilled about Keira (yet). We should indeed go for another top CM

Sure it's not ideal, and just like you, i'd like us to improve on the wings, but i'm just not thrilled by the alternatives who are on the market.

Who knows how the final would have ended if we didn't have to run all our attacking payers into the ground during the season. Depth on the wings could have made a huge difference. Orsolini and Keita (for example) wouldn't cost a lot, but they'd be a huge upgrade over playing the likes of Sturaro and Lemina in the wings.

In short: If there is no quality winger on the market - add attacking depth and go for a quality mid instead, who is on the market in person of Fabinho for example.

Overall, we think the same. However, I think Berna would be a an improvement (in the long run) over our current wingers and would be useful behind a striker or in Christmas tree formation.
That makes him the best option for me.

How does Pjacas dribbling, pace and ball control compare to Bernardeschis, a player who most likely will cost twice as much? All three are important traits for attacking players.

Pjaca defenitely has better pace but that's it for me. What Bernadeschi showed with Viola past season is another level to croat league and half a season of doing very little off the bench for us. I mean he scored 14 goals and 7 assists as midfielder who played all across the midfield. If that's not clearly better then unproven talent like Pjaca then I don't know what it will take.
