Moral of the story: Nobody's Perfect.

Moral #2 of the story: This board has done far more good than harm.

Moral #3: I still don't know how this went from Bernadeschi to arguing about Marotta and Co.
Husted.

Me saying that people claim to know the outcome of a player coming here more than the board somehow got to me telling people not to post their opinions. Opinions are one thing, but to claim, for example, 40m for this guy is a waste of money is another. My point was: The board knows more about the players they buy for whatever price than we do so why not sit back and watch them continue building a successful team.

Member A doesn't like random transfer rumour. Member B replies to trust Beppe. Member A counters with list of transfers Beppe got wrong to prove the point.

Bernardeschi to a bunch of freebie squad fillers is a bit of a leap though.
Clearly, I'm member B.

What exactly is wrong with Rincon? The guy does his job. His job wasn't to be a starter, it never was. His job is to shore up the midfield when its late in the game which he does. He is a worker bee so to speak. He was in inexpensive solution proven in Serie A. Look, this isn't rocket science when you did deep.

I find it much easier to criticize Beppe for Hernanes, I'll give you that. He waited too long that summer to fill a gap. Martinez, meh, considering he had just started at the club and was given a very limited budget with which to work and not many people wanted to come here at that time after 2 second place finishes. Beppe was trying to build a foundation, which he eventually did.

I'll give you Hernanes. What else do you have besides those two? We can talk about Osvaldo or whats that Danish guy's name? He learned from his EARLY mistakes but again, he handled a small budget masterfully well with a couple hiccups along the way. And you know what, most of those names came AFTER we couldn't get our main targets because we simply couldn't afford them at the time.

I never said they didn't make bad decisions. I also never said to not post your opinions. What I am saying is, some members post like they already know the outcome before it even happens. But you're right about one thing it would be much less boring this time of the year when we can look back at those silly predictions
We sold Hernanes for the same amount we paid so it's kinda even.

The though of Him, Dybala, and Schick being the core of the future of this attack could be very exciting. Add in Pjaca and Kean as well.

We been over this before so no point in bringing up again. In my opinion Hernanes was horrible, and we got lucky some Chinese went full retard. And offcourse Isla was a financial loss. We bought him for 18m and sold him for what 5-6m. Bad ROI no matter if it showed up in the finansiel statement or not.

Isla
Bendtner
Anelka
Lucio
That guy who playes in Sussulo now
Padoin
Martinez
Maybe Higuain for 90m (verdict still put on that one)
Sell Coman to Bayern on a deal with an option

Again big fan of Marotta and co. but they do make mistaken and it is worth discussing.
We bought Isla for 9+4M, sold him for 4M after 4 years and 2 loans of 1M each. Thats not a financial loss on the books

All i know is that im all in for an eclectic talented player like Bernardeschi. We need someone like him so much.

My ideal player would have been James because he has a deadly long shot, but im ok with bernardeschi.

Less established, but younger, cheaper and italian which is another defensive layer to fight against buyers from the outside.

Also, like Pjanic... he can improve his game so much. I mean.. if him (bernar) and schick are doing very good in their respective teams, imagine how much they can grow here. Even an stablished champion like Mandzukic , evolved his game to new heights with us, turning into a more complete player.

Bernardeschi could turn into our richman´s Giaccherini.

Almost all these guys were bought for nothing and put on the end of the bench. Padoin bought for nothing and did his job just fine. How are players like him a mistake. "guy from sussulo" was Peluso and he was fine too.
