Incredible is it not? Everyday I come on here and I read that juve is the best club in the world and now the same ppl r fretting over Juve losing 5-0 to Basel, when did the said basel beat anyone 5-0?They had the chance to have qualification in their hands against a weakened man u and they blew it.
No matter which side man u, real madrid, milan, barcelona, arsenal etc put out, they will never lose 5-0 to basel and you guys come on here and abuse Trapatoni and you are just as cautious

Let Juve go there and play without tension cos no matter what they shouldn't lose 5-0 and if they do then we should be deducted 10 points in seriea for being an embarrassment to italy
Denco, it's not impossible. though the chances are very low, if we play our wrost game we can play... we may lose 4-0 (I repeat, 4-0 is enough for Basel if La Coruna doesn't win). let's say, the chances for this to happen are 1 to 50. but still it's not worth a risk.
If we will lose 4-0... i'm going to stuck myself in the refrigerator.

You will only freeze and Juve players will not know about it, besides you might end up eating what your parents have stored in there for months u greedy bugger:D

Depor is out as 2 teams are above them and that is Juve and Man u so their result does not matter

Now if Basel beats us 4-0 it will be taken into account the results between juve , Depor and Basel and since we did not lose to Depor and Basel did, then our record is better but if they beat us 5-0 then they have a better head to head so they quailfy

Anyway its not likely we lose as I do not think that in their heart of hearts , they think they can still qualify and also i hear they have just come back from their break so its even harder

The majority of Manchester United's star names have stayed at home for tomorrow's Champions League showdown with Deportivo.

Sir Alex Ferguson's side are already through, while the Spaniards can't qualify, so the Premiership giants are taking advantage by blooding their youngsters.

David Beckham, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Fabien Barthez and Rio Ferdinand have all stayed in England.

Youngsters including Fletcher, Pugh, Webber, Pugh, Richardson, Roche, Lynch, Stewart, Davis, Nardiello have all travelled

it seems good news for us , cause if Depor wins the match , it means automatic qualification for us whatever we do against Basel.

dont be surprised that a team can beat juve 4-0 at least.

Celta Vigo beat us 4-0 and knocked us out of the UEFA cup. we even had to win that game.

this time, we won't be half as motivated. one slip up can lead to a disaster.

i know the chances are slim that a team can beat juve 4-0, but remember that it's still football and anything's possible.

not fear, but you should always take defeat into consideration.

did u think the USA could beat Germany 3-0 a couple of years ago?!

did u think Senegal could beat France 1-0?
    ....

the basel game result is not as sure as 1+1=2

yeah right, we should take into consideration the fact that we might lose 4-0 to some swiss amateurs? right.

IMO if we even draw we should be deeply embarassed

u know guys that all ur fears depends on what will Depor do against United , & as i stated before the English team will feild a very weakend side in this match & i think that Depor will win it easily , so don't be afriad .

let us all consider basel like dynamo kiev in the first group stage. we thrased them at home, and we beat kiev away with our reserves. i see a bit of a pattern :)

I am shocked that many people in forum is scared of loosing 4-0 to Basle..
This is just not going to happen unless Basle manage to score two goals in ten mins, which is highly unlikely.
Also, just judging by the result, I have noticed that they tended to struggle in the second half, so I don't think they can sustain the pressure for the entire match which you need to do if you are to overcome 4 goal deficit.

I know my predictions have been pretty bad,;), I cannot get this wrong. Or can I?!:D

mmmm i dont look basel like dynamo,,,dunamo were, at least, fighters till the end, but with a lack of evrything.
but basel, they have a great fighting spirit when they play in home. and have strikers that must be taken in consideration, in comparison with the dynamo ones.

Anyway, juve will do a good job, im possitive with that. They will win this one.! Juve is inspirated, and basel will be under heavy pressure at home.
