You do realize, you're probably the other end of this spectrum, where you perhaps won't even acknowledge Quag's contribution in this game, perhaps more so coz he didn't have his name on the sheet. Though, it was clear to me that he made a more than fair contribution.

Indeed it's a "WTF???"
Although, my choice for MoTM is not less strange. If I have to vote for the best player tonight, I'd choose Peluso :p
Why is it a WTF? Did you think he didn't contribute to the game? I also thought Peluso grew well into the game, but he is a very irresponsible player. For every game he gets, I feel like he is carrying a red card liability on him. Ogbonna deserves a special mention as well.

I heard a good one about Quags, "he is not selfish only when he takes corner kicks."
True,true.
I think he was extremely selfish not to pass to Vidal on that move. But apart from that he didn't seem anymore selfish than any other players in this game. In fact, Llorente had an almost identical opportunity when he chose to dribble and go for a shot himself, and everyone thought that was a good move. It really is perception about the player. Quag maybe a more selfish type of player, but it's wrong to tag him selfish every game he gets.

Quag was passing it well too, particularly when he laid the ball off for Vucinic and there was a nice swerved pass to Peluso. Good game.

:D

Conte after last night's win: “I think we can praise Fabio Quagliarella, who played with intensity even when defending. Mirko Vucinic had also been doing well, but then had to come off with a knock to the knee."

I liked his work rate, thought it was one of his better games alongside Vucinic, albeit with a team like Bologna who left a bit more space. He's not 100% match fit by the look of it, but you only get that with consecutive games.

Giovinco had a much better game
