Not at all. Nobody knows what Conte and the think tank have in mind for the upcoming season. None of the forwards have been head and shoulders ahead of each other. Each has exhibited strengths as well as weaknesses. Just because Vucinic and Giovinco are his choice as starters does not indicate what can't change in the close season when he analyzes the attacking unit. Vucinic is almost 30 and is one of the older ones and his consistency or lack therof could have an effect on how he is perceived in the team. Selling him now, may be the last chance to cash in on him and use that money entirely on a significant upgrade. The same applies to Giovinco. His temperament has been questionable at times and he hasn't really clicked, maybe because of how he has been used, but he has been a disappointment. But given his age, he could be a great bargaining chip or salable player if Conte wants to replace him for a player likely to replace him in the 352, someone like Sanchez or Jojo. Again, he is likely to fetch the highest fee. Quag and Matri being bench players and having adapted to Conte's system may still be retained because their value may not be enough to bring a better player, and certainly not a game changing one. So there's nothing certain about whose going and whose staying. It'll all depend on who we are targeting.
I'll have a Milan avatar for a month if either Vucinic or Giovinco are not on our squad list next season, that's how sure I am about it.

Vucinič isn't going nowhere, but I wouldn't be so sure about Seba, they got rid of him once and this season he's probably doing worse than before Parma. Sure, Conte is a huge factor here, but when it comes to selling value, Giovinco probably has the highest between our forwards, it could be another Diego - Krasič deal.

We'll see, I guess.

I'm personally pretty certain that both Gio & Vuc will be Juve players on September 1st & you can quote me on that when the date arrives.

Who do you think will be sold out of our current strikers?
I honestly don't know. A while ago, signs were clearly pointing towards Quag, but that seems to have changed.
Thing is, you can come up with reasons for both Quag & Matri. But what I think will happen, is us looking around to see if we can add someone else to our attack besides Llorente. If so, depending on who that is we'll decide who has to leave. Unless we get a really good offer for either of them, but that's very unlikely.

Vucinic - Giovinco - Llorente - ? - ? (- ?)

I have no idea who the 2 or 3 question marks are going to be. And it's not that far fetched to think that both Matri & Quag will still be here, with only Bendtner & Anelka leaving.

Don't make me quote your Fabigol Batistugliarella posts :D

Vucinic - Conte fan
Giovinco - just paid €11m, Juve product

Quagliarella or Matri most at risk.
You're saying that based on the hierarchy there seems to exist at the club, but that can change quickly based on targets and the income each player's sale can bring in. Losing Gio to bring in a Sanchez, doesn't affect team balance, and balances the books too. Quag and Matri are not going to bring those returns. No point selling them if they can't contribute to a big upgrade.

And Batistugliarella? Really? :D

so today i learn something new about jay, he's a quag hater :D
He's not quite honestly. He just seems to like evening out an argument. Really wonder if he's Libran. Would've pursued that thought if he looked anything like you preet.

I think that's generally how things work around here.

Besides, that isn't my opinion on who should leave, it is who I think will.

I picture Jay with a beard, slightly tousled hair, with a grimace on his face in the workday, hating on his bosses and bitching out his subordinates. A bit tallish, but a cynical guy with a bit of arrogance. Maybe wears Oxford shoes to work and buys his clothes from Marks and Spencer, in the most cynical shades available. :p :D
