That's your biggest problem, Andy. You don't see a greyscale, it is either black or white. When I said Diego was not good enough, you translated that as "he sucks", when I said Quag can be a good support striker, you translated it as "Quag is world class". You just refuse to see in between the extremes and it makes discussing anything with you as annoying as it can get.

Diego and Quag are different players, I never rated Diego as high as you do and I don't think Quag is the answer to the forward problem but you just don't like such an opinion. You crave for giving "sucks" or "kicks ass" and when you don't see such an answer you rely on name calling.
But it just doesn't make sense to say Diego isn't good enough yet have support of Quag. When it comes down to decisions like these, it really is black or white. The club is putting its money where its mouth is.

Lots of people. Just read the first few pages of his thread.

And I see you're a proponent of imposing a system on players who aren't suited for it. That's just ridiculous.

I don't know how you came to that conclusion, but it sure is amusing. You do realise that, in turn, the same thing can be said for you, right?

For the record: the powers that be decided that Del Neri was going to be our coach. Probably not the smartest choice, but there's really nothing we can do about it.
And it looks like he has his heart set on a 4-4-2 of some kind, so we brought in players who (more or less) fit the bill. Now from where I'm standing, that kinda looks like imposing a system on players who are suited to it.

The situation may have been different if we actually had players who are/were good enough to base a team (or different formation) around in the first place. But we didn't. And we still don't.

Look, just like most of us, I strongly disagree with some of the decisions that have been made. Signing Quag being one of those. But I couldn't agree more when I see Jack saying it's not all black or white...

The same behaviour, you are against the club actions so whatever the other members say against what you believe in makes no sense. That is exactly what I said in my previous post.

Not going to comment on any of the black/white stuff, co-loans, or any of that.

Just thought I'd speak to the bolded part above, and mention that we've brought in a TON of new players this mercato. Actually, and just for starters, none of our current wingers were in this team last year (as you surely know).

I'm fairly confident that we could have fortified a couple of different formations quite effectively, had we hung on to Seba, Diego, or both. Just my opinion.

Anyway, hopefully the new boys blend well... and I still believe - provided we get a little bit of luck - that we could have a very strong 4 man midfield... given Melo's return to form, Krasic, and a healthy Aquilani (along with Marchisio's quality).

Whatever the case may be, I don't want a guy who speaks ONE language dictating our transfer policy. If it's all so fucking simple, why don't you do it? Because you can't actually communicate with most players?
