You need to rate him for what he is. He's not a consistent player in the sense that he isn't brilliant every game. But if you're 1-0 down with only three minutes to go and you need a striker who can score two goals out of absolutely nowhere in that time, you want to put Quagliarella on.

If Juve had three good forwards and had the chance to sign another forward to offer something different and unpredictable, Quag would be an interesting option.
